Day 2 - Prague
Today, we explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local guide will lead a panoramic tour, showcasing the city’s most significant monuments. We’ll visit Prague Castle, with admission included, followed by a relaxing boat ride on the Vltava River. In the afternoon, you will have free time to discover the city at your own pace.
Day 3 - Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
We depart early from Prague and travel to Pilsen in western Bohemia, a city famed for its beer. You’ll have time to explore the historic centre, including the Old Town Square, cathedral, Plague Column, and Renaissance town hall. Crossing into Germany, we follow a section of the Romantic Road to Rothenburg, a picturesque medieval town often regarded as one of the most beautiful in the country. Later, we continue to Frankfurt, Germany’s financial hub, where you’ll have free time in the evening to enjoy the historic city centre and choose from a variety of restaurants offering Indian, Asian, Italian, and international cuisine.
Day 4 - Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam
We begin the day with a scenic cruise along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine, sailing between the charming villages of Rüdesheim and St. Goar. After the cruise, we travel to Cologne to see its impressive Gothic cathedral, a masterpiece of medieval architecture and a symbol of the city. Later, we continue our journey north into the Netherlands, arriving in Amsterdam by evening.
Day 5 - Amsterdam
Today we’ll explore some of the most picturesque scenes of the Netherlands. We begin at Zaanse Schans, a charming area known for its traditional houses, canals, and iconic windmills. Next, we visit Volendam, a scenic fishing village rich in character. From Volendam, we take a short boat ride to Marken, once an island, now connected to the mainland by a dike. Here, houses were traditionally built on stilts to protect against flooding. In the afternoon, we enjoy a guided tour of Amsterdam, seeing highlights such as the windmill and Rembrandt statue, the modern elegance of the South District, and the historic diamond-cutting quarter at Museum Square. We then leave the coach and walk into the city’s centre, where the tour concludes. You will have free time to explore Amsterdam’s famous canals, markets, and cafés at your leisure.
Day 6 - Amsterdam - Hamelin - Berlin
We leave Amsterdam and travel into Germany, stopping first in Hamelin, a charming town known for its streets and shops that recall the Brothers Grimm’s Pied Piper tale. Continuing on, we pass through Marienborn, the historic border crossing between East and West Germany before reunification in 1990. We arrive in Berlin in the evening.
Day 7 - Berlin
Today we explore Berlin, Germany’s dynamic capital, on a guided tour. From the coach, you’ll see key sights including Museum Island, the Television Tower, central shopping streets, the old cathedral ruined in World War II, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the city’s extensive parks. We’ll pause to visit the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum—two significant sites reflecting the city’s complex 20th-century history. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure, followed by a transfer to the vibrant Kantstrasse district in the early evening.
