Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Georgia

Once you have arrived at Tbilisi International Airport, you will be met by your guide and driver, who will then transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at your leisure to relax, start exploring or grab a meal.
Day 2 - Tbilisi City Tour

Today, we explore Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital, founded in the 6th century and long regarded as a meeting point between Europe and Asia.
We begin in the Old Town, where narrow cobbled streets, traditional balconies and distinctive architecture reflect the city’s layered past. As we walk through this historic district, we visit Anchiskhati Church, one of the oldest churches in Tbilisi. We pass the famous sulphur baths in Abanotubani, the area linked to the city’s founding, and continue through Meidan Square. From here, we take in views of the Metekhi cliff and see the Armenian church, mosque and synagogue, all standing close together and illustrating Tbilisi’s diverse heritage.
We ascend by lift to Narikala Fortress, originally established in the 4th century and one of the city’s oldest fortifications, where we enjoy panoramic views over Tbilisi.
We finish our tour with a walk along Rustaveli Avenue, home to the Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Parliament building, Rustaveli Theatre and several notable galleries.
Day 3 - Exploring Mtskheta & Uplistsikhe

Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Uplistsikhe - Tbilisi. After breakfast, we drive to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia and one of the country’s most important religious centres.
We visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a masterpiece of medieval architecture and a revered religious symbol, where, according to legend, Christ’s robe is buried. We then continue to Jvari Monastery, perched on a hill with commanding views of the surrounding landscape. We take time to explore the streets of Mtskheta and experience the atmosphere of this historic town.
Our journey continues to Uplistsikhe Cave Town Fortress, an ancient rock-hewn settlement that spans nearly 3,000 years of Georgian history. We explore this remarkable site before returning to Tbilisi.
Day 4 - Georgian Military Highway & Stepantsminda

Tbilisi - Ananuri - Guduari - Stepantsminda - Tbilisi. We travel north along the Georgian Military Highway, where dramatic mountain scenery and history come together.
Our first stop is the Ananuri Fortress Complex, set beside the Zhinvali Reservoir. At the heart of the complex stands a fortified 17th-century church, decorated with intricate carvings influenced by Persian and pagan art. We take time to explore the site and admire its setting.
We continue towards the mountain resort of Gudauri, stopping at the Gudauri viewpoint for impressive panoramic views and photo opportunities. Surrounded by the towering Caucasus Mountains, we experience the striking landscapes of this high-altitude region.
From here, we drive on to Stepantsminda, also known as Kazbegi. We transfer to 4WD vehicles and travel through the forest up to Gergeti Trinity Church. Perched on a hilltop against the backdrop of Mount Kazbegi, this 14th century church is one of Georgia’s most iconic landmarks. We explore the area and take in the remarkable scenery before returning to Tbilisi.
Day 5 - Sighnaghi & Bodbe Monastery

Tbilisi - Sighnaghi - Tbilisi. This morning we travel to Sighnaghi, a picturesque town overlooking the Alazani Valley. Known as the City of Love, it is characterised by cobbled streets and attractive architecture. We explore the town and take in the views across the valley.
We continue to Bodbe Monastery, one of the most important religious sites in Georgia. The complex includes St George’s Cathedral, which holds the remains of St Nino, who brought Christianity to the country. Today, the monastery functions as a nunnery. We visit the site before beginning our return journey to Tbilisi.
On the way back, we stop at KTW Wine Factory for a wine tasting.
Day 6 - Departure from Tbilisi
After our final breakfast, depending on your departure flight time, you may have some time for some last-minute shopping, exploring or relaxing before your transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
