Day 1 - Frankfurt
On arrival in Frankfurt, we will transfer you to your hotel where you can settle in at your leisure. In the afternoon, please check the information boards at the hotel reception for details about the start of your tour. You will have free time to explore or relax as you prepare for the days ahead.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Frankfurt - Cologne - Amsterdam
Today we enjoy a scenic cruise along the Rhine, travelling between the picturesque villages of Rudesheim and St. Goar - widely regarded as the most beautiful stretch of the river. Afterwards, we continue to Cologne, a city famed for its striking Gothic cathedral. Later, we make our way to the Netherlands, arriving in Amsterdam that evening.
Day 3 - Amsterdam
Today we explore some of the most picturesque scenes of Holland. Our first stop is Zaanse Schans, famed for its traditional houses, tranquil canals and classic windmills. From there, we travel to the charming fishing village of Volendam, known for its colourful harbour. A short boat ride takes us to Marken, once an island, now linked to the mainland by a dike. Here, you'll see distinctive houses originally built on stilts as flood protection. In the afternoon, we enjoy a guided tour of Amsterdam, covering highlights such as the iconic windmill, the Rembrandt statue, the sophisticated South District and the historic craft of diamond cutting at Museum Square. We finish with a walk into the heart of the city where the tour concludes, leaving you free time to explore Amsterdam's famous canals, markets and cafes at your leisure.
Day 4 - Amsterdam - Brussels - Paris
After breakfast, we travel to Belgium, reaching Brussels in just over two hours. As the capital and a key centre for European institutions, Brussels offers a blend of elegance and multicultural charm. We will visit the striking Grand Place, a prime example of Flemish Baroque architecture, and pass by the famous Manneken Pis statue. The city is known for its rich history, fine chocolate, and vibrant modern life. In the afternoon, we continue our journey into France, arriving in Paris by the evening.
Day 5 - Paris
We'll explore the rich history of France with a visit to the grand Palace of Versailles, famed for its magnificent gardens (admission not included). Returning to Paris, we'll discover Montmartre, a picturesque bohemian district known for its artistic heritage and lively cabarets. To capture the full splendour of the city, we'll take a panoramic tour with a local guide, highlighting Paris's broad avenues and iconic landmarks. Afterward, we'll head back to the hotel. In the evening, you have the option to attend a variety show for a taste of Parisian night life.
Day 6 - Paris
We begin the day in central Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You'll have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor of this renowned iron structure - tickets are included. Following this, we take a leisurely boat cruise along the Seine lasting approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, offering a unique perspective of the city's landmarks. The afternoon is free for you to explore Paris independently at your own pace; please note that transfers back to the hotel are not included. Should there be long waiting times at the Eiffel Tower, we may reschedule this visit to another time or the following day for your convenience.
Day 7 - Paris
After breakfast, your tour concludes in Paris, leaving you with lasting memories of your journey.
