Day 1 - Athens - Athina
Arrive at Athens Airport or Piraeus Port, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and recover from your journey or to begin exploring the vibrant city at your own pace. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2 - Athina
After breakfast, we will collect you from your hotel lobby for a full-day tour of Athens. Our expert guide will take you first to the Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the inaugural modern Olympic Games in 1896. We then pass the Prime Minister’s residence—the former Royal Palace—guarded by the traditional Euzones in their distinctive uniforms. Next, we visit key landmarks including the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament building, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the historic institutions of the Academy, University, and National Library, before arriving at Constitution Square (Syntagma). We continue to the Acropolis to explore the architectural masterpieces of Athens’ Golden Age: the Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and the Parthenon, a symbol of classical harmony and order. Finally, we visit the Acropolis Museum to admire artefacts from the site. After the tour, we return you to your hotel in Athens for an overnight stay.
Day 3 - Thira
After breakfast at your hotel, we transfer you to Piraeus port to board a high-speed ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival on this stunning island, known for its dramatic caldera and iconic whitewashed buildings, you will be met and taken to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to relax—whether that means unwinding at the hotel, soaking up the sun, or exploring Santorini’s charming streets at your own pace. You may also choose to join an optional boat tour at sunset, offering a memorable perspective of the island as the day fades. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 4 - Thira
After breakfast at the hotel, you have a full day to explore Santorini at your own pace. Wander through the charming alleys and admire the iconic white Cycladic houses perched on the cliffs. You might choose to visit the archaeological site of Akrotiri, often called the Pompeii of Greece, to connect with the island’s ancient past. Alternatively, consider a visit to Canava to see its vineyards and distillery. Take time to savour the local cuisine—Santorini offers an impressive range of restaurants serving traditional dishes that are sure to delight your palate. Later in the afternoon, head to the picturesque village of Oia to experience its renowned sunset, a truly captivating sight. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 5 - Santorini - Athens - Athina
After breakfast, we transfer you to Santorini port for the high-speed ferry to Piraeus, Athens. The crossing takes approximately five hours, offering comfortable travel back to the mainland. Upon arrival at Piraeus port, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Athens for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 6 - Athens - Delphi - Kalabaka - Kalampaka
After breakfast, we depart for Delphi, travelling via Thebes, Levadia and the charming village of Arachova, nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Upon arrival, we explore the remarkable Archaeological Site of Delphi, once considered the centre of the ancient world. Afterwards, we continue through the scenic villages and towns of Central Greece to reach Kalambaka. Here, we enjoy a pleasant dinner before settling in for the night.
Day 7 - Kalabaka - Athens - Athina
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, we travel to Meteora, one of Greece’s most remarkable landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will take in the stunning landscape and explore the ancient monasteries perched atop towering rock formations, home to invaluable historical and religious artefacts. On the return journey to Athens, we pause briefly at Thermopylae to view the monument dedicated to King Leonidas, located just across the road. We continue through Trikala and Lamia before arriving back in Athens early evening for your overnight stay.
Day 8 - Athina
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and at the arranged time we will transfer you to the airport or port for your onward journey or return trip.
