Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Reykjavik

Once you have arrived in Reykjavik, you can make your own way to the accommodation - a shuttle bus into the city centre or a private transfer straight to the door can both be booked in advance, at an additional cost.
From here, you can take some time to wander through the centre of Reykjavik, the world's northernmost capital, before settling in for your first night.
Alongside your arrival, you can also add one of several optional activities:
Whale Watching
You can join a whale-watching trip from the harbour in the early afternoon, spotting minke whales, humpback whales, porpoises and beluga whales over around three hours - sightings can't be guaranteed, at an additional cost. This can also be booked for Day 6 instead.
Cruise with the Northern Lights Aurora from Reykjavik
You have the option to join a boat trip in search of the Northern Lights, setting sail at 9 pm for two to three hours, weather permitting, at an additional cost. This can also be booked for Day 5 instead.
By Bus in Search of the Northern Lights
You can also opt to join a local expert on a four-hour search for the Northern Lights by bus, departing your accommodation at 9 pm, weather permitting, at an additional cost. This can also be booked for Day 5 instead.
Please note: The shuttle bus (Flybus) runs from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik's central bus station (BSI), where a smaller shuttle then continues on to your accommodation area - show the driver the voucher with the QR code provided and they'll confirm which onward bus to take. A private transfer for up to three passengers can also be booked in advance, taking you directly to your accommodation.
Day 2 - The Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon

Reykjavik - Thingvellir National Park - Selfoss. After breakfast, we start the day with a visit to the Northern Lights Centre, where we learn more about this remarkable phenomenon, before continuing on to the impressive Gullfoss waterfall and the Strokkur geyser.
From here, we drive to Thingvellir National Park, a site of both historical and geological significance.
In the afternoon, at around 4 pm, we head to the Secret Lagoon, an authentic thermal spring where we can bathe and relax - a memorable way to spend the afternoon, so remember to bring your swimsuit.
The day finishes with our arrival into Selfoss, where dinner and an overnight stay at the accommodation await.
Day 3 - South Coast to Kirkjubaejarklaustur

Selfoss - Reynisfjara - Kirkjubaejarklaustur. This morning, we continue along the south coast to Skogafoss waterfall and on to Reynisfjara, known for its black sand beach - the contrast is especially striking in winter.
We then arrive into Kirkjubaejarklaustur and check in to our accommodation for the next two nights.
After dinner, we head outside for a chance to spot the Northern Lights - conditions in this area are some of the best in Iceland, and we need only step a few paces from the accommodation to look up. A clear sky and a little luck are both needed, as the aurora can never be guaranteed or predicted far in advance; if it doesn't appear, our guide will be on hand with plenty of insight into this extraordinary phenomenon.
Day 4 - Skaftafell & Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon

Kirkjubaejarklaustur - Skaftafell National Park - Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon - Kirkjubaejarklaustur. Today we explore Skaftafell National Park and the Skaftafellsjokull glacier - a true winter spectacle, and although the park is surrounded by glaciers, it's one of the areas in Iceland least affected by snow thanks to the south winds.
From here, we continue on to the famous Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, where magnificent icebergs drift in the water.
Tonight, we have another opportunity to watch for the Northern Lights directly from the accommodation, once again accompanied by our experienced guide, before an overnight stay at the accommodation.
Day 5 - Kirkjubaejarklaustur

Kirkjubaejarklaustur - Hveragerdi - Reykjavik. After breakfast, we make our way back toward Reykjavik, stopping for photographs along the way.
We call at the small town of Hveragerdi, known for its geothermal activity and the steam that rises from the ground, before continuing to Strandarkirkja, known locally as "the miracle church".
If you'd like even more time to relax, you can add a visit to the Blue Lagoon - Iceland's best-known hot spring, with round-trip transfer and standard thermal bath admission - on top of the Secret Lagoon visit already included earlier in the tour, at an additional cost. This evening, you can also choose to join a boat cruise or bus-based search for the Northern Lights from Reykjavik, at an additional cost, if you'd prefer to save this for tonight rather than Day 1.
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy freely in Reykjavik city centre - perhaps browsing the shops or relaxing in a cafe - before an overnight stay at the accommodation.
Day 6 - Departure from Reykjavik
You'll have time for a little last-minute shopping this morning after breakfast, depending on your flight. You could also join a whale-watching trip from the harbour this afternoon, at an additional cost, if you didn't already add this on Day 1. You can then make your way to the airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!
Please note: A transfer to the airport can be booked in advance, either by shuttle bus or privately, depending on your flight times.
