Set off from Coimbatore on a three day escape to the Nilgiris. Glide up to Ooty, the Queen of Hill Stations, to soak up cool air and colonial heritage at St Stephen’s Church and the Stone House. A joyous ride on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway sets the tone, followed by Coonoor highlights: serene Sim’s Park and sweeping views from Dolphin’s Nose towards Catherine Falls. Back in Ooty, expect to see Doddabetta Peak, the colourful Rose Garden and tranquil Ooty Lake, with time to relax between scenic stops.

Day 1 - Coimbatore to Ooty
Coimbatore to Ooty – 85 km – about 2 hours. We’ll meet you at your Coimbatore hotel or at the airport and drive you along a scenic hill route to Ooty, often called the Queen of Hill Stations. On arrival, we’ll assist with check-in at your selected hotel, leaving the rest of the day free for you to unwind and get used to the cooler climate.
You can explore at your own pace – consider visiting heritage landmarks such as St. Stephen’s Church, noted for its Gothic design, and the Stone House, Ooty’s oldest bungalow. Overnight at your hotel in Ooty.
Day 2 - Nilgiri Mountain Railway & Coonoor
We begin the day aboard the Nilgiri Mountain Railway – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – gliding through tunnels and over bridges with sweeping views of misty mountains and lush valleys. After the ride, we tour Coonoor, starting at Sim’s Park, a tranquil botanical garden with rolling lawns and a wide variety of plant species. We then continue to Dolphin’s Nose viewpoint for panoramic views of the Nilgiri Hills and Catherine Falls.
Returning to Ooty, we visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiris, for far‑reaching vistas, before exploring the Rose Garden, home to thousands of rose varieties in a vibrant array of colours and fragrances. We finish at Ooty Lake, where you can take a gentle boat ride or simply relax by the water. Overnight in Ooty.
Day 3 - Return to Coimbatore
Ooty – Coimbatore (85 kilometres – about 2 hours). After check-out, we depart Ooty and drive back to Coimbatore, descending through the Nilgiri foothills. On arrival, we drop you at your preferred location, bringing your time in the hills to a close.
