Itinerary
Day 1 - Dharamshala
On arrival at Dharamshala airport, our representative will meet you for a warm welcome and a smooth transfer to your hotel. Check in and take time to refresh after your journey. Later, we explore Dharamshala’s colourful local markets – narrow lanes lined with stalls offering traditional handicrafts, aromatic spices, textiles and souvenirs. You can chat with local artisans and browse at your own pace. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 - Exploring Dharamshala
After breakfast, we set out on a guided tour of Dharamshala. We begin at the Tsuglagkhang Complex – the residence of the Dalai Lama – and the Tibetan Museum for an introduction to Tibetan history and culture. We then continue to the Norbulingka Institute to see master artisans at work on thangka painting, woodcarving and metalwork.
Later, we head to Bhagsu Nag to visit the Bhagsu Nath Temple, explore the village lanes and take a short trek to Bhagsu Falls. We also visit St John in the Wilderness Church, noted for its stained glass windows, and the War Memorial.
In the afternoon we visit the Tibetan Children’s Village to learn about its work supporting Tibetan refugee children through education. We end the day with dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3 - Dharamshala
After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll take care of hotel check–out and arrange your comfortable transfer to Dharamshala airport for your onward flight.
Depending on your departure time, you can explore independently or pick up a few last–minute souvenirs. We’ll ensure you reach the airport in good time for a smooth, stress–free departure.
