Day 1 - Jaipur
On arrival at Jaipur airport, our representative will meet you, assist with your luggage and arrange a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After check in, take time to relax and freshen up. When you’re ready, you can head out to experience the Pink City – explore Jaipur’s bustling bazaars such as Johari Bazaar, a favourite for jewellery and textiles. Stroll the colourful streets and admire the fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture that sets the tone for your Rajasthan journey. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 - Jaipur
After breakfast we drive to Amber Fort – a UNESCO World Heritage site – to explore its imposing ramparts, palaces and courtyards. We then continue to nearby Jaigarh Fort, noted for the world’s largest cannon on wheels and wide views over the surroundings. Returning to the city, we tour the opulent City Palace complex and the 18th century Jantar Mantar observatory, before visiting Hawa Mahal – the five storey Palace of Winds with intricate latticework windows once used by royal women to watch street life unseen. In your free time you can browse Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar for jewellery, textiles and handicrafts, immersing yourself in the city’s lively atmosphere. As evening falls, we visit the serene white marble Birla Temple for a peaceful close to the day. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 - Jaipur - Pushkar - Ajmer
After breakfast, we depart Jaipur for Pushkar – about 145 km – a scenic drive of roughly 3 hours through the Aravalli Hills. On arrival, we check in and you have time to unwind before we explore Pushkar’s sacred heart. We visit Pushkar Lake, edged by ghats and temples, and the rare Brahma Temple, one of the few dedicated to Lord Brahma. We continue to the hilltop Savitri Temple for panoramic views over the town and surrounding hills. Later, we travel to Ajmer to visit the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the revered Sufi shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, before returning to Pushkar. You can soak up the town’s peaceful atmosphere in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 - Pushkar - Jodhpur
Pushkar – Jodhpur (190 km – 4 hours approx) After breakfast, we drive to Jodhpur, the Blue City. On arrival, check in and take a short break before we begin exploring. We visit the towering Mehrangarh Fort – one of India’s largest – to walk through its palaces, courtyards and galleries, and admire sweeping views across the city and towards the Thar Desert. We continue to the tranquil Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Next, we see the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace, a sandstone landmark now part heritage hotel, reflecting a blend of eastern and western architectural styles. We round off the day with a relaxed stroll through Mandore Gardens, known for their royal cenotaphs and green spaces. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 - Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
After breakfast, we drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur – about 260 km and 5 hours. En route we stop at the Ranakpur Jain Temple complex, noted for its marble architecture and intricately carved pillars. On arrival in Udaipur we check in at the hotel, and you can take a little time to relax. In the evening we take a boat ride on Lake Pichola, passing palaces and havelis with the Aravalli hills in the background. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 - Udaipur
After breakfast, we set out to explore Udaipur. We begin at the City Palace on the eastern bank of Lake Pichola, taking in its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal design as we move through its courtyards, galleries and viewpoints. We then walk to nearby Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and noted for its finely carved pillars and ornate ceilings.Next, we visit Saheliyon Ki Bari – the Garden of the Maidens – a calm space of fountains, marble pavilions and lawns. We then browse Udaipur’s bazaars, including Hathi Pol and Bada Bazaar, where you can look for handicrafts, textiles, jewellery and local artwork.In the late afternoon, we drive up to the hilltop Monsoon Palace for wide views over the city and surrounding countryside, staying for sunset if conditions allow. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 - Udaipur
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Udaipur – you can revisit favourite spots or browse the bazaars for last minute souvenirs. After you check out, we will meet you at your hotel and assist with your transfer to the airport for your onward flight, bidding farewell to the City of Lakes and the memories of your Rajasthan adventure.
