Bali & Gili Islands Encompassed

Upon your arrival in Bali, we will be at the airport to welcome you and transport you to the hotel. You'll have ample time to rest and get acquainted with your group. We'll get together with the group for a welcome dinner at around 19:00, so you can get to know everyone before our adventure begins tomorrow.

Please note: This tour is designed for younger travellers looking to meet like-minded people. The average age on this tour is around 25 - 35, and in most cases we are unfortunately unable to take any travellers over the age of 49. Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Bali as we explore the stunning ancient temples in Uluwatu. We also enjoy a Bahasa language lesson, and learn how to make a Canang Sari, a traditional local offering. Afterwards, we head to one of Bali's trendiest boutique beach clubs for sunset drinks and dinner, followed by an evening out in Seminyak.

Seminyak - Canggu. Our final morning in Seminyak is spent at a surf lesson with a local instructor. That's because we're heading to one of the world's top surf destinations next, Canggu. On arrival, you've got plenty of time to practice your new surf skills or simply relax on the beach with a cool drink.

Canggu - Lovina. Today, we journey to the remarkable Lovina in northern Bali. On our way, we'll explore intriguing temples, take a dip under a magnificent waterfall, and admire the stunning rice paddies that the Indonesian countryside is known for. Tonight's accommodation is located high in the mountains, boasting incredible views of the surrounding jungle and ocean.

We visit a local family to learn the traditional art of basket weaving, offering a fascinating insight into everyday Balinese life. We then step aboard a traditional outrigger boat to cruise along the coastline in search of wild dolphins. Later, there’s time to relax - the infinity pool at our luxury villa provides the perfect setting to unwind.

Lovina - Gili Trawangan. Say goodbye to Bali for now as we make our way by ferry to the largest of the Gili Islands, Gili Trawangan. Better known as Gili T, your first afternoon in paradise is at leisure for you to unwind and explore the island. In the evening, we'll venture out as a group for a few drinks and to enjoy the vibrant island nightlife!

Perhaps the biggest drawcard of Gili T is that motorized vehicles are banned on the island - no cars, and no motorbikes. They aren't really needed, since the island is so small, it can be walked in around 2 hours! Rather than walking, we will explore the island by bicycle today. There's also time to relax on the white sandy beaches and enjoy a stunning sunset.

We will explore the stunning Gili Islands by boat, pause for a beachside lunch, and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters where we have a good chance of seeing turtles. Afterwards, we'll go out for dinner and drinks to celebrate our final night on Gili T!

Gili Trawangan - Ubud. Say farewell to our island paradise as we take the ferry back to Bali, and head to our accommodation in Ubud. The rest of today is at leisure in the town.

Today, we'll visit the renowned Monkey Forest, an ancient temple nestled in the rainforest, inhabited by hundreds of wild monkeys that you can observe up close. Following that, you'll discover the secrets of preparing delicious Balinese cuisine in a traditional cooking class. And yes, you can taste your creations!

We rise early this morning with an incredible trek up a volcano (either Batur or Agung). Witness a once-in-a-lifetime sunrise while having breakfast at the summit. Return by mid-morning and relax with a soothing and rejuvenating massage, just what is needed after an arduous morning hike!

Ubud - Nusa Lembongan. Say goodbye to Bali again as we take a fast ferry to the beautiful island of Nusa Lembongan. After checking into our beachfront resort, enjoy a blissful day of relaxation, rounded out with sunset drinks and dinner.

We'll hop on a boat to explore the beauty of Nusa Lembongan today. We'll stop often for swimming and snorkelling in secluded bays where there is a good chance of spotting manta rays and other marine life. Afterward, we'll continue to discover more of the island and its stunning viewpoints from the land.

Nusa Lembongan - Seminyak. After spending two nights on Nusa Lembongan, we'll return to Bali and check into our hotel in Seminyak for our farewell dinner and a final fun night out as a group.

Our tour comes to an end today. You can depart this morning, making your own way to the airport or your next destination. Although there is no departure transfer included, your tour leader will be available to help you plan your onward travel and is on hand to assist you. Safe travels!
