Day 1 - Rome Departure & Venice Arrival

Welcome to the first day of your European adventure! We'll start by meeting your tour leader in Rome. With the group assembled, we'll set off on our journey to Venice—an enchanting city crafted atop 118 small islands.
Upon arrival in the evening, you'll have free time to discover the wonders of this "Floating City" at your own pace. You might choose to wander through the historic St. Mark’s Square, or perhaps sample local cuisine at a nearby restaurant or bar.
For a unique experience, consider the optional "Evening in Venice" excursion. This includes a water taxi and gondola ride, offering a fresh perspective of Venice, followed by an included dinner.

Day 2 - Innsbruck Explore, Munich Orientation & German Dinner

Today, we leave Italy behind and journey north through the breathtaking Brenner Pass into Austria. Upon reaching Innsbruck, we embark on a brief orientation tour to acquaint ourselves with this charming city, famous for its stunning alpine backdrop. Afterwards, you will have some free time to visit the Swarovski Crystal store, offering an opportunity to explore exquisite crystal creations.
We then continue our journey to Munich, the capital of Bavaria. Here, we participate in an orientation tour of this historic city, renowned as the birthplace of both BMW and Adidas. Munich's reputation as the home of Oktoberfest makes it the perfect place to sample the local beer.
Our day concludes with a delightful three-course dinner at one of Munich’s historic restaurants, providing an authentic taste of German cuisine. We then retire to our hotel for a restful night.
Day 3 - Rhine Valley Riverboat Cruise & Wine Tasting

Today's itinerary showcases the enchanting landscapes of Germany. We'll enjoy remarkable views of the Rhine Valley aboard an included riverboat cruise. As we sail down the Rhine, we'll pass vineyards, charming villages, and majestic castles.
After disembarking, we’ll visit a local winery for a wine tasting session, offering an insight into the region’s renowned wine-making tradition. With a touch of luck, you might even sample eiswein, a rare delicacy made under specific conditions.
Day 4 - Dutch Windmills, Cheese & Amsterdam Canal Cruise

Departing Germany, we journey into the Netherlands, renowned for its windmills, cheese, and clogs. At the iconic Riekermolen windmill, we'll pause for photos and a chance to capture picturesque memories. In the Dutch countryside, we'll witness a fascinating demonstration of traditional cheese and clog making.
By the afternoon, we'll check into our hotel in Amsterdam. Later, embrace the city's charm during an evening canal cruise, where you'll uncover the rich history of this famous city, crisscrossed by its canals. Dinner will be enjoyed at a local restaurant with the group, after which you'll have free time to explore the vibrant city on your own.
Day 5 - Ghent Stopover, Paris Arrival & Landmark Driving Tour

Next, we venture into Belgium, specifically to the charming city of Ghent, renowned for its medieval marketplaces and vibrant public squares. While exploring, you might indulge in some Belgian chocolate or a classic waffle.
Following our time in Ghent, we head to France, arriving in the iconic capital, Paris. We will explore the city’s main attractions on a driving tour, featuring landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. After taking in the sights, we'll enjoy a group dinner together.
Day 6 - Free Day: Macarons, Montmartre & Moulin Rouge

Today, you have a free day to explore Paris at your own pace. Opt to join our 'Paris Like Locals' excursion for a memorable experience. We'll indulge in macaron tasting, delve into the world of French fragrances at a perfume museum, and visit Galeries Lafayette and the historic Latin Quarter.
This evening, you can choose to enjoy a captivating cabaret show, wander through the bohemian streets of Montmartre, or do both. Regardless of your choice, Paris promises to enchant you.
Day 7 - Burgundy Wine Stop & Journey into the Swiss Alps

Today, we bid farewell to France, heading first to Burgundy, renowned for its exquisite wines. In the charming walled town of Beaune, we’ll enjoy a local wine tasting. You’ll then have some free time to explore or have lunch at your leisure.
Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to Switzerland. Anticipate two nights in the breathtaking Swiss Alps, where unparalleled natural landscapes await. Upon arrival, we'll check into our hotel and later gather for an included group dinner.
Day 8 - Free Day: Jungfraujoch Train & Alpine Villages

Immerse yourself in the Swiss Alps today with a full day of freedom to explore as you please. You might choose to embark on the highly acclaimed optional journey to Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe. There, enjoy year-round snow and magnificent panoramic views from what is known as the ‘Top of Europe’. Remember to visit the fascinating ice palace and capture unforgettable photos.
Should you opt to remain in the villages, consider shopping for authentic Swiss souvenirs or taking a leisurely walk to appreciate the breathtaking scenery. In the evening, you have the option to indulge in a traditional Alpine Dinner Experience, offering a taste of local culture and cuisine.
Day 9 - Lake Como Lunch Stop & Montecatini Terme Arrival

This morning, savour your final breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps as we head towards Italy. En route, we will visit the beautiful Lake Como region, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure. Take in the view of the lake's crystal-clear waters framed by majestic mountains and charming villages.
After our visit, we will continue to Montecatini Terme in Tuscany, where your hotel awaits. This evening, you have the choice to explore the town independently or opt for an 'Evening in Montecatini' excursion to enjoy a delicious Tuscan meal.
Day 10 - Leaning Tower of Pisa, Florence Walking Tour & Rome Return

We begin our day visiting the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-see landmark in Italy. After capturing this architectural marvel, we head to Florence, where a local guide will lead us on a walking tour of the city. We'll explore renowned attractions, including the historic Ponte Vecchio.
Next, we visit a local leather and gold shop. Tuscany is renowned for its tradition of vegetable tanning, and local tanneries are famed for producing some of the world's finest leather products.
Following this, you have free time to further explore Florence at your leisure, or you can choose to join an optional family-style Tuscan lunch to savour authentic local dishes. In the evening, we return to Rome, where a group dinner at the hotel awaits.
Day 11 - Free Day: Colosseum, Vatican Museums & Trastevere

Today is yours to explore Rome, famously known as the Eternal City. You have a free day to discover its many wonders at your own pace. Consider joining an optional excursion to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, guided by a local expert, where you'll walk in the footsteps of gladiators and emperors. Alternatively, you could visit the stunning Vatican Museums. Both experiences can be combined on the Eternal Rome optional excursion, but please book in advance as they are exceptionally popular.
In the evening, consider the optional excursion to Trastevere, a district renowned for its cultural charm and culinary delights. You are also welcome to venture out independently to discover the area's unique atmosphere.
Day 12 - Tour Farewell in Rome

After breakfast, our tour comes to an end. Be sure to exchange contact details with your new friends and share your experiences in the Facebook Group. We wish you a safe journey home or wherever your next adventure takes you.
