Day 1 - Florence
Upon arrival in Florence, make your own way to the hotel and check in (an optional transfer is available). In the afternoon, join a small group tour departing at either 13.00 or 16.00. Meet your guide for priority access to the Accademia Gallery, where you will see Michelangelo’s original David. This iconic 5.17-metre marble statue, carved from a single block of Carrara marble by a young Michelangelo, represents the biblical hero David and has stood as a symbol of Florence’s civil liberties since its unveiling in 1504. You will have the chance to admire David from every angle before exploring other notable works in the gallery, including paintings and sculptures by Botticelli, Paolo Uccello, and others from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Overnight in Florence.
Day 2 - Florence
After breakfast, we begin a small group tour exploring the heart of Florence, starting with a guided walking tour through the historic centre. Your local guide will reveal the city’s stories, from local legends to fascinating facts, as you visit its iconic squares and landmarks. The tour concludes inside the renowned Uffizi Gallery, where you will admire exceptional Renaissance masterpieces, including Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, Leonardo da Vinci’s Annunciation, and Michelangelo’s Tondo Doni. After the guided visit, you may choose to stay longer in the gallery or head out for lunch to sample traditional Florentine cuisine at your own expense.Later in the evening, join a small group for an exclusive visit to the Duomo. With skip-the-line access, we explore the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Florence’s emblematic landmark, discovering works such as Paolo Uccello’s clock, Vasari’s frescoes, and Bandinelli’s marble choir. Then, we ascend to the Duomo Terraces via narrow, open-air corridors that have been closed to the public for centuries. From this unique vantage point, enjoy unparalleled views of the city’s rooftops and towers, with the Dome looming just above. If you wish, you can continue climbing to the top of Brunelleschi’s Cupola, bypassing the usual queues, to reach the 91-metre-high panoramic viewpoint. Take your time to savour an unforgettable sunset over Florence. Overnight in Florence.

Next, travel to Siena, renowned for its striking Gothic architecture and the famous Palio horse race. Take time to stroll the narrow streets and enjoy panoramic views from the hilltop. Finally, visit the heart of Chianti, where you will learn about the wine-making process from the estate owner before tasting fine local wines, snacks, and fresh olive oils.
