Day 1 - Rome
Welcome to Rome. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel where your guide will meet you to provide all the essential information about your stay. Additional details can be found on the information board in the hotel reception area. In the evening, we�ll take you to Via Cavour�an ideal introduction to the city�where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants offering Italian, Indian, Chinese and international cuisine.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Rome
In the morning, we�ll begin a three-hour guided tour of Rome, blending a walking exploration of Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride through the city. You�ll see major landmarks including the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant�Angelo. The tour concludes around 11:00 a.m. at Vatican City, where you can choose to join an optional visit of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Later, we�ll transfer you to Trastevere, a popular neighbourhood known for its vibrant atmosphere and charming restaurants. You will have the evening free here before returning to the hotel around 8:30 p.m.
Day 3 - Rome - Florence
Today we leave Rome and travel north, enjoying the scenic landscapes en route to Florence. Upon arrival, we head straight to Piazzale Michelangelo, where you�ll take in panoramic views of the city. From there, we walk down to the historic centre and, after some time for lunch, join a guided walking tour with a local expert. We�ll visit key landmarks including the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria, all part of Florence�s extraordinary open-air museum. Afterwards, you�ll have free time to explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, you can choose from a wide range of restaurants offering international cuisine in this vibrant district.
Day 4 - Florence - Venice
Today we�ll travel from Florence to Venice, crossing the scenic Apennine mountains along the way. Upon arrival in Venice, we�ll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to reach the island itself. With a local guide, we will explore the iconic St Mark�s Square, soaking in its remarkable architecture and atmosphere. Afterwards, we�ll visit a Murano Glass Factory to witness the traditional techniques behind this renowned craft. You�ll then have some free time to discover Venice at your own pace. Accommodation for the night will be in the Mestre district.
Day 5 - Venice - Innsbruck - Zurich
We leave Venice this morning and travel towards Austria. Upon arrival in Innsbruck, you�ll have some free time to explore the historic city centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Afterward, we continue through the stunning Tyrolean Alps before crossing into Switzerland and arriving in Zurich for the evening.
Day 6 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today�s journey showcases some of Switzerland�s most spectacular alpine scenery. We begin in the Interlaken region, stopping in Grindelwald for a coffee before taking a cable car up the mountain. There, we will follow a winding path to a suspended bridge, which offers dramatic views of surrounding glaciers for those who wish to cross. Lunch on the mountain is included. Afterwards, we continue to Lucerne, where you�ll have time to explore its charming city centre at your leisure. We will then return to Zurich. There is also an optional full-day excursion available, starting in the morning, where after some free time in Lucerne, you can take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 metres, this alpine peak provides stunning views of the glacier and the Alps.
Day 7 - Zurich
After breakfast, your tour concludes in Zurich, leaving you with lasting memories of your journey.
