Itinerary
Day 1 - Rome - Naples - Pompeii - Sorrento
Meet your assistant at Rome’s Termini Station around 8:00 a.m. (an optional private transfer from centrally located hotels can be arranged). We then take a high-speed train to Naples. Upon arrival, our expert local guide will meet you to transfer to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological site. This ancient Roman city was buried under volcanic ash following Mount Vesuvius’s eruption in 79 AD, preserving it remarkably for nearly 1,700 years. After the visit, we transfer to Sorrento, known for its charming old town and the authentic fishing village of Marina Grande. A local assistant will welcome you at your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 2 - Sorrento - Capri - Sorrento
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart at 7:30 a.m. for Sorrento’s port to meet your guide and board a traditional Gozzo Sorrentino boat to Capri. Upon arrival, we take a scenic boat tour around the island, with the option to visit the Blue Grotto, weather permitting. Once ashore, we continue by minibus to the famous Piazzetta, the vibrant heart of Capri. You then have some free time to explore the island at your own pace before returning to the port and sailing back to Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 3 - Sorrento - Positano - Positano
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Positano. The day is yours to explore this stunning town, often called the jewel of the Amalfi Coast, at your own pace. Enjoy wandering its charming streets, browsing local shops, or simply soaking up the atmosphere. Overnight in Positano.
Day 4 - Positano - Positano
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at your leisure in Positano. You can explore the town’s charming streets, browse local shops, or simply relax on the beach. Overnight in Positano.
Day 5 - Positano - Naples - Rome
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning in Positano to explore or relax as you wish. Around 3:00 p.m., transfer to Naples where our local assistant will meet you at the train station to assist with boarding the high-speed train to Rome.
