Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Nairobi & Masai Mara

Nairobi - Masai Mara. At Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative for a short safari briefing before departing for the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations, known for its wide open plains and abundant wildlife. Arrive at Zebra Plains Mara Camp in time for lunch.
After lunch there's time to relax and take in the surroundings before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Explore the reserve as wildlife becomes more active in the cooler hours, returning to camp at dusk. Back at camp, you have time to freshen up with a hot shower before settling in for dinner.
Please note: Flights need to arrive into Nairobi by 6am on day 1, in order to transfer to the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Alternatively we can arrange pre tour accommodation and an additional airport transfer on request.
Day 2 - Masai Mara game drives

Today you will enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve, with time to relax back at camp in the heat of the day. The Masai Mara has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the world and you will discover the remarkable diversity the reserve is known for. The Masai Mara is particularly famous for its big cats, but you may also encounter elephants, giraffe, zebra, antelope, impala, hyenas and warthogs across the plains.
If you are travelling during the dry season between June and October, you may witness the Great Migration, when over two million wildebeest move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.
Day 3 - Optional Experiences & Game Drives

This morning there's the opportunity to take to the skies on a exhilarating hot air balloon safari for an additional cost, offering a unique perspective over the Masai Mara. You may also choose to visit a nearby Maasai village to learn more about local culture and daily life.
The rest of your day is spent on further game drives, exploring deeper into this wildlife rich reserve with your expert driver guide.
Day 4 - Masai Mara to Nairobi

Masai Mara - Nairobi. After your final breakfast, you will be transferred to the Nairobi airport by the early afternoon for your onward flight. Safe Travels!
Please note: Flights should not depart before 16.00hrs today. We can book post tour accommodation and transfers on request.
