On arrival into Kuala Lumpur, you're met by a representative in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name, and transferred by private car to your accommodation in the city, with pick-up from around 12 pm.

Kuala Lumpur sits at the meeting point of the Kelang and Gombak rivers and is Malaysia's capital and commercial hub - a city of contrasts, where colonial-era buildings, temples, mosques and domes sit against a skyline dominated by the Petronas Twin Towers, among the tallest buildings in the world. By night the city lights up, and its multicultural mix of communities and cuisines is on full display.

The rest of the day is free - a good chance to wander nearby Bukit Bintang's stalls and markets, or simply settle in after your flight.

This morning, a private guide and driver collect you from your hotel in the KL City Centre or Bukit Bintang area for a half-day tour into the surrounding countryside. You start with a visit to the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, followed by a stop at a batik factory showroom, before continuing to Batu Caves. From here, the drive back takes you past local villages before returning you to your hotel.

After breakfast, a private driver collects you for the four-hour road transfer from Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara. Taman Negara is often described as the green heart of Peninsular Malaysia - one of the world's oldest tropical rainforests, spanning more than 4,300 square kilometres of dense jungle, rivers and mountains across three states.

The rest of the afternoon is free to settle into your accommodation and take in the surrounding rainforest.

Today brings a boat trip along the Tahan River, cruising past riverside flora and fauna en route to Lata Berkoh, where cascades form a natural jacuzzi.

Along the way, the route passes a giant Tualang tree and the Kelah Fish Sanctuary, with the chance to swim and cool off in the cool spring-fed waters. The trip lasts around three hours.

After breakfast, a representative collects you from your accommodation for the three-hour drive to the Cameron Highlands. Perched in Peninsular Malaysia's misty central hills, the Cameron Highlands were established as a British hill station in the 1920s and still carry a touch of colonial charm, with cooler temperatures offering a refreshing change from the tropical lowlands.

The rest of the day is free to explore the surrounding hills at your own pace - perhaps a wander through Tanah Rata's markets, or a stop at one of the local tea rooms.

A private half-day tour takes you into the Mossy Forest, a mist-shrouded ecosystem of moss-draped trees, orchids and pitcher plants explored along a raised boardwalk trail.

From here, you continue to the Boh Tea Plantation, touring the rolling tea fields and learning about the cultivation and processing of the leaves, before finishing with tea and light refreshments at a tea cafe overlooking the plantation.

After breakfast, a private driver takes you on the three-hour drive back to Kuala Lumpur, where you connect with your afternoon flight to Yogyakarta (departing 3:25 pm, arriving 5:05 pm). On arrival, a representative meets you and transfers you privately to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.

Yogyakarta is the capital of Java's Yogyakarta Special Region and a long-standing centre of Javanese art and culture, known for its batik, classical music and traditional puppet shows.

Today is dedicated to Indonesia's cultural treasures, beginning with a visit to Borobudur Temple. Built in the 8th and 9th centuries, this monumental Buddhist temple rewards a climb through its tiers with panoramic views and a sense of the spiritual sanctuary it once was.

The tour continues to the nearby Pawon Temple, set within a small village, before finishing at Mendut Temple, home to a striking statue of Buddha Sakyamuni.

Please note: Climbing to the top of Borobudur Temple is not available on Mondays.

You're collected from your hotel at 7 am for the transfer to Yogyakarta's Tugu train station, where you board the 1 pm train to Surabaya, arriving into Surabaya Gubeng station at 4:50 pm aboard the Argo Semeru luxury suite service.

Surabaya is the capital of East Java and Indonesia's second-largest city, sitting along the Madura Strait.

An early start today - be ready by 3 am for a private jeep to the sunrise viewpoint at Kingkong Hill or Penanjakan Hill, with the driver aiming for a quieter spot with the best views. If you'd rather skip the jeep for this stretch, you have the option to hike up to the sunrise point instead, which takes around two hours.

From the viewpoint, you take in sunrise over Mount Bromo, an active volcano within the Tengger massif and part of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, before a photo stop at Lembah Widodaren and a bumpy jeep ride across the volcanic sea of sand. From here, it's a 30-45 minute hike up to the Bromo crater itself. You also have the option to add a visit to the Savannah and the Whispering Sand of Bromo, at an additional cost.

You're collected from your hotel at 12:30 pm for the transfer to Juanda International Airport, where you take the 3:30 pm flight to Labuan Bajo, landing at Komodo Airport at 6 pm. A driver meets you on arrival for the private transfer to your accommodation.

Please note: Maximum waiting time at the airport meeting point is 60 minutes on departure and 120 minutes on arrival.

Pick-up from your hotel is between 6 and 6:30 am, transferring you to the harbour for a 7 am check-in ahead of a full day by speedboat around Komodo National Park.

The first stop is Padar Island, arriving around 8 am for a couple of hours of hiking to its famous viewpoints, before continuing by boat to Long Beach for swimming and photographs. From here, the route tracks on towards Komodo Island itself, with a rest and lunch break of around an hour around midday.

The afternoon continues to Taka Makasar for snorkelling and swimming at Pink Beach, then on to Manta Point for a chance to spot manta rays, before a final stop at Kanawa Island to snorkel and swim as the afternoon draws in. The speedboat returns you to Labuan Bajo by around 5 pm, with a transfer back to your hotel.

You're collected from your hotel at 10:10 am for the transfer to Komodo Airport, where you take the 1:40 pm flight to Bali, landing at Ngurah Rai Airport at 2:50 pm. A driver meets you on arrival for the two-hour private transfer to your accommodation in Ubud.

Ubud sits amongst rice paddies and steep ravines in the foothills of the Gianyar regency, and has long been promoted as Bali's arts and culture centre.

An 8 am pick-up begins a full day exploring Ubud's culture and natural scenery. The first stop is Tegenungan Waterfall, one of Bali's best-known cascades, with scenic paths for photographs among the surroundings.

From here, you continue to Goa Gajah, the Elephant Cave temple, dating back to the 11th century, with an intricately carved entrance and peaceful gardens and bathing pools to explore. The tour continues to Tirta Empul Temple, where the holy spring water is believed to have purifying properties, and you can watch locals and visitors taking part in cleansing rituals.

After a stop for lunch at a local restaurant, the day finishes at Puri Taman Saraswati, a temple known for its lotus pond and traditional Balinese architecture, before returning to your hotel.
