Day 1 - Marrakech - Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, clear customs and meet your driver just outside the Arrivals exit, where they will be holding a sign with your name. Please ensure you do not leave the pick-up area before meeting them. Your representative will provide all necessary travel vouchers before escorting you to your air-conditioned transfer to the hotel in Marrakech. After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. You might choose to explore some of the city’s key landmarks, such as the impressive Koutoubia Mosque, the ornate Bahia Palace with its Saadian Tombs, or wander through the bustling Medina with its intricate network of alleys. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2 - Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, collect your rental car from the hotel reception at 8:00 am and begin your journey by driving to Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most famous ksars in southern Morocco and has served as a backdrop for numerous well-known films and television series. From there, continue to Ouarzazate, where you can visit the notable Glaoui Kasbah before checking in to your chosen hotel for the night.
Day 3 - Ouarzazate - Zagora
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Zagora, a charming town in southern Morocco known for its well-preserved kasbahs and ancient fortresses nestled at the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. From Zagora, we continue along the Tamegroute road to Tilougui, a tranquil desert camp located nine kilometres from the town. Accessible by car, this peaceful oasis is surrounded by palm trees and golden dunes, offering a serene desert setting for your overnight stay.
Day 4 - Erfoud - Merzouga
After breakfast in the desert, we set off for Merzouga to continue your desert journey. Along the way, we suggest stopping in Rissani to explore a remarkable 17th-century Kasbah. Next, visit Erfoud, where you can wander through its lively, colourful souk. Erfoud is also home to the Borj, a fortified tower offering impressive views over the surrounding palm groves and desert landscape. Finally, we drive on to Merzouga, where you will check in and spend the night.
Day 5 - Merzouga - Boumalne Dades
After breakfast, we set off for Boumalne Dades, situated on the edge of a desert plateau. Along the way, we reach El Kelaa M’Gouna, nestled in the heart of the fragrant Rose Valley. This area is renowned for its extensive rose cultivation, primarily for cosmetic use, as well as for growing local delicacies such as saffron. El Kelaa M’Gouna is also known for its annual rose festival. Upon arrival, we check in to your hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 6 - Boumalne Dades - Skoura
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely drive to Skoura, a charming town nestled within a lush palm grove. We will visit the impressive Amridil Kasbah, the Ait ben Moro Kasbah, and other notable local sites that offer excellent photo opportunities. After checking in to your hotel, spend the remainder of the day at your own pace, soaking up the rich history and tranquil atmosphere of this distinctive area. Overnight in Skoura.
Day 7 - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Fint Oasis
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning in Skoura before driving back to Ouarzazate. Upon arrival, you’ll have time for lunch (not included) in this city known as the gateway to the Sahara. Afterwards, park your car at Al-Baraka des Loisirs and, at the arranged time, transfer by 4x4 deep into the desert to reach the Oued Noujoum eco-lodge in the tranquil Fint Valley, approximately 15 kilometres from Ouarzazate. It’s advisable to confirm your transfer time with the lodge, typically between 16:30 and 17:00. Once there, settle in and enjoy the calm and natural surroundings of your desert retreat for the night.
Day 8 - Marrakech - Marrakech
After breakfast, we take the 4x4 transfer from the ecolodge back to Al-baraka to collect your rental car. From there, you’ll drive back to Marrakech, where your journey began. Once in the city, you can explore the bustling souks and admire the skilled craftsmanship on display. Later, visit Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the vibrant heart of Marrakech, where you’ll experience the lively atmosphere of street performers, musicians and market stalls as the sun sets. Return your rental car at the hotel, check in and enjoy your final night in Morocco. Please confirm all transfer and car return details with our agent when you collect your vehicle on day two.
Day 9 - Marrakech
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before checking out. You will then be transferred to Marrakech Airport in good time for your onward flight, marking the end of your journey.
