Itinerary
Day 1 - Ouarzazate
Arrive into Ouarzazate Airport and transfer to your accommodation. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free for you to relax after your journey or begin to discover this desert-edge town, often referred to as the gateway to the Sahara and known for its kasbah architecture and cinematic history.
Day 2 - Ouarzazate at Leisure
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Ouarzazate, a southern city with a long history as a crossroads for desert trade routes. You can visit the Taourirt Kasbah, a striking example of traditional mud-brick architecture that once served as the residence of a powerful local family.
You may also choose to visit the film studios, for which Ouarzazate is well known, and where many international films and television series have been made, taking advantage of the dramatic landscapes and desert light of the region.
Day 3 - Ait Benhaddou Day Trip
Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate. Travel by private minibus to the outstanding kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. Set along an old caravan route, the kasbah has been used as a backdrop for numerous films and television series, including Game of Thrones, thanks to its striking mud-brick architecture and dramatic setting.
You have a guided visit of the kasbah, climbing through its maze of narrow streets and passageways to the top, where there are wide views across the surrounding landscape. Return to Ouarzazate for the night.
Day 4 - Ouarzazate
Your short stay in Ouarzazate comes to an end after breakfast. Check-out and take an included transfer to the airport.
