Day 1 - Welcome to Tromsø!
Welcome to Tromsø, Northern Norway's Arctic Capital!
Today you will find your own way to the hotel or take a pre-booked private transfer. There will be a welcome meeting in the hotel lobby tonight at 18:00. For those who arrive late, your welcome meeting will be tomorrow morning at 8:00.
If you have free time today, consider exploring this wonderous city. Located 69 degrees north and 230km above the Arctic Circle, Tromsø is a lively city with world class seafood restaurants, exciting nightlife and captivating museums and art galleries. There's something for everyone to see in this winter wonderland!
Day 2 - Reindeer Safari & Sommarøy Island

After breakfast this morning, we will enjoy an exciting reindeer safari (4 hours). Reindeer sleighing is one of the oldest forms of transportation in the North, and an important part of Sami culture. Taking the sled in pairs, you will be guided by reindeers through scenic surroundings, be sure to take in the arctic nature and enjoy this moment. This activity is suitable for everyone, so no one has to miss out!
Afterwards, you will learn about lasso throwing, which is the traditional Sami way of catching and herding reindeer together. Sami are a group indigenous to Norway, so you'll learn about their culture, history and experience an emotional Lappish ancestral folk song. Afterwards, enjoy a hot meal.
In the afternoon, we will drive to the picturesque Sommarøy Island, where we will spend the night.
Day 3 - Sommarøy Village Tour

Today begins with a panoramic walk of Sommarøy. With a population of only 300, Sommarøy is one of the busiest fishing villages in in the county of Troms region. Not only will you learn about the history and fishing traditions of the small village, but you will also get to enjoy the breathtaking arctic views from Sommarøy Island.
The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Why not consider an optional 1-hour Sea Eagle Safari by RIB boat? You will embark on a guided tour by RIB or boat and search the islands and cliffs for Sommarøy's large colony of sea eagles. The majestic bird can be spotted year-round.
Alternatively, explore the island or enjoy a complimentary sauna at the hotel.
Day 4 - Polar Museum & Northern Lights Cruise

This morning we will head back to Tromsø. Spend the afternoon at leisure or consider an optional Husky Safari. This afternoon you can also visit the Polar Museum, an included attraction which is dedicated to the lives of Arctic trappers and explorers.
In the evening, you'll embark on a Northern Lights Cruise. This unforgettable adventure takes you into the deep darkness of the Arctic fjords during the Polar Night. Departing from Tromsø, your cruise will head toward the area where the clearest weather conditions are forecast for that night—maximizing your chances of witnessing the spectacular Northern Lights.
Day 5 - Goodbye
Today, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend the morning at leisure. Make sure to take one last stroll around the city or purchase last minute souvenirs.
When it's time to disembark, make your own way to the airport or take advantage of a pre-booked private transfer.

Afternoon Husky Sled Ride
This is an exciting and comfortable husky sled tour through the beautiful mountain landscape of Kvaløya-island. Participate on this guided tour and learn about the dogs in the dog yard of 200 Alaskan Huskies. There will be lunch served by the open fire in a cozy gamme-hut; Bidos – a traditional Sami reindeer dish, the “world-famous” chocolate cake, coffee and tea. Included in the package is a 45-minutes dog sled ride, return transfer from Tromsø, dog yard guiding & puppy visit, warm lunch, thermal suit & boots. (4 hours, 15 minutes)
Snowshoe Hiking Experience
Snowshoeing is a great way to experience the arctic winter. During this tour you will be brought closer to the neighbouring mountains and hike on snowshoes for a great view over the fjords and archipelagos. Your guide will choose a suitable area for the day, giving you a summit view of the mountains and fjords in the region. 3-4 hours.
Evening Snowmobile Safari (2 persons per snowmobile)
Enjoy an unforgettable snowmobile safari through magical snow-covered mountains, dramatic landscapes and scenic valleys. Learn how to drive “the scooter of the north” in a snowy wilderness playground. Experience the spectacular fun at our wilderness center, Camp Tamok. For this tour you will be picked up from the city center in Tromsø, from where you will be taken to Camp Tamok, a 90-minute scenic bus drive away. Upon arrival, you will be provided with warm clothes and other required gear for this snowmobiling activity. After this, we will go through the safety instructions and give you a practical demonstration on how to drive your own snowmobile. You will drive in pairs, one driver and one passenger, on each snowmobile with the opportunity to switch places during the trip. After driving back down the trail and parking the snowmobiles, we will serve you a hot meal in a traditional North Norwegian setting around the open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent. During peak season, we might split the group to avoid large groups. Half of the group will start with the hot meal in the traditional North Norwegian setting before heading out to the mountains on the snowmobiles. After relaxing and warming up, it is time to head back to Tromsø. You must have a valid driver’s license – class B – to be allowed to drive the snowmobile.
