Day 1 - Doha
Upon your arrival at Doha airport, we’ll be there to transfer you to your hotel. Be aware that throughout the tour, new travellers may join or leave the group at various points along the route; however, the group size will always remain within the designated limit. Enjoy the rest of your day settling in and exploring at your leisure. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Doha
On our second day, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant city of Doha. Our city tour will take us along the Corniche, renowned for its striking skyline and serene beaches. We’ll catch a glimpse of Al Thumama Stadium, a modern marvel that hosted the 2022 World Cup, and pass by the architecturally impressive National Museum. The highlight of the morning is a visit to the Museum of Islamic Art, which boasts the world’s largest collection of Islamic art.Our exploration bridges modernity with tradition as we discover the Souq of the Falcons, gaining insights into the country's esteemed falconry practices. A stroll through the Waqif Souq offers a taste of history, as this market was rebuilt to reflect a 19th-century souk. Nearby, we’ll see stables housing Arabian horses, a nod to local heritage.Lunchtime brings us to The Pearl of Qatar, an artificial archipelago known for its luxury and elegance. Here, in the Porto Arabia district, you have time to explore Qanat, a shopping area reminiscent of Venice. Lunch is on us.As the day draws to a close, we make our way to KATARA, a cultural village featuring replicas of global architectural wonders, offering varied dining choices and boasting an opera house and amphitheatre, perfect places to unwind and reflect on the day's adventures.
Day 3 - Doha - Dubai
On the third day of our journey, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your included flight to Dubai. Upon arrival, you'll be escorted to your hotel, leaving the afternoon at your leisure to unwind or explore the city at your own pace. As dusk falls, we’ll venture out to experience Dubai's enchanting nightlife. Prepare to be mesmerised by the Dubai Fountain show, where water jets elegantly dance to a symphony of music and light. This spectacle takes place at the base of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world, standing at a staggering 828 metres. Following this, the evening is yours to explore and dine (at your choice) within the vast confines of the Dubai Mall. After soaking in the vibrant atmosphere, we’ll return to the hotel to rest. Please note that your flight from Doha may arrive at Dubai or at nearby airports such as Sharjah or Abu Dhabi.
Day 4 - Dubai
Today we'll immerse ourselves in the wonders of Dubai. Our first stop is the iconic Dubai Frame, where you'll relish breathtaking views from the world's largest photo frame. We then head to the historical section of the city, exploring the vibrant Bur Dubai Souq and the aromatic Spice Souq. A ride on a traditional Abra takes us across the creek to the Al Fahidi historical neighbourhood. Here, we will visit the Centre for Cultural Understanding, renowned for its philosophy of "Open Minds, Open Doors," allowing us a glimpse into Emirati culture. We'll enjoy a meal featuring traditional local dishes in a charming historical building, where, for groups of over 15, a talk on Emirati cuisine will be provided.In the afternoon, our city tour continues past the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque, known for its stunning architecture. We'll also drive by the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel, famed for its sail-like structure, and explore the Palm Jumeirah, an island shaped like a palm tree. Accessing the modern monorail, we'll traverse this extraordinary artificial island. We'll conclude by strolling through the Marina area, a vibrant waterfront destination.The day ends with leisure time for you at JBR beach, one of the liveliest beaches in Dubai, where you can enjoy the sun, sand, and a lively atmosphere before returning for the evening.
Day 5 - Dubai - Abu Dhabi
We set off after breakfast towards Abu Dhabi, the most significant Emirate and the country's capital. Before entering the city, we pause to view the exterior of Ferrari World, a theme park dedicated to the renowned racing cars. Our journey continues to the remarkable Sheikh Zayed Mosque, a stunning white structure known as the largest mosque in the Emirates, sprawling over 12 hectares. This mosque also serves as a cultural and religious meeting point. As we progress, we pass by the Capital Gate, noted for being the world's most inclined skyscraper at 160 metres high. From the picturesque Corniche by the sea, we gain a splendid panoramic view of the city. Our next stop is the Heritage Village, where admission is on us. This site offers insights into traditional Emirati life, with shopping opportunities in charming craft stores and small museums that detail the history of the Emirates. Lunch in the city centre is included, providing a chance to relax and savour the local cuisine.In the afternoon, we include a visit to the Qasr Al Watan, the Emirates' presidential palace. This magnificent structure boasts an impressive white granite facade with intricate decorations, featuring a 37-metre dome and a chandelier composed of 350,000 glass pieces. Our itinerary then takes us to the cultural district, home to several museums, including the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi with its striking seaside architecture and world-class collection. You have the opportunity to explore one of the museums or simply enjoy some leisure time in this vibrant area. Nearby, we witness the Abrahamic Family House – a unique complex housing a church, a mosque, and a synagogue in one space, showcasing remarkable cross-cultural unity.As evening descends, we visit The Founder's Memorial, erected in honour of Zayed, the first leader of the Emirates. Here, The Constellation stands out for its breathtaking night-time illumination, offering a fitting end to our exploration of Abu Dhabi.
Day 6 - Abu Dhabi - Al Ain
On Day 6, we depart for the remarkable oasis of Al Ain, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. After travelling just over two hours through expansive desert landscapes, we arrive in the city. Our first stop is Qasr Al Muwaiji, a fortress-museum where Sheikh Zayed, the inaugural president of the UAE, was born. We then visit the Al Jahili Fortress, renowned as one of the finest examples of adobe fortifications. At the Sheikh Zayed Museum, we gain insight into life in this region a century ago. Lunch is included today. In the afternoon, we explore the vast Oasis of Al Ain. Here, we take a ride in small electric vehicles, allowing us to admire its lush gardens, palm plantations, and intricate irrigation systems. Following this, you have free time to shop at local bazaars or relax by our hotel pool. Dinner is also included.
Day 7 - Al Ain - Fujairah
In the morning, after breakfast, we visit the bustling Camel Market, a lively trading hub not just for camels, but also for sheep, goats, and horses. The lively atmosphere here is sure to captivate you. Our journey continues through scenic mountainous landscapes as we head towards the Gulf of Oman, stopping by Al Hayl Fort set beside a quaint oasis nestled in a valley. We then travel onwards to Fujairah, where you will have some free time to enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we delve into the sights of Fujairah, close to the Omani border. Highlights of our visit include the impressive Sheikh Zayed Mosque, which stands as the second largest in the country, dominated by its 100-metre-tall minarets. We also explore the historic adobe fortress and the Fujairah Museum, offering insights into the city's origins. You will have time to wander through the charming city centre before enjoying an included dinner in the evening.
Day 8 - Fujairah - Dubai
Following breakfast, we continue along the coast, making our way to Al Bidyah. Here, you'll find the country's oldest mosque, dating back to the 15th century. Built from adobe, it sits at the base of a fortress overlooking the sea. Afterwards, we stop in the charming city of Khor Fakkan, where you have free time to relax on the beach. You're welcome to take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf, with changing facilities and showers available, and perhaps lunch in one of the city's delightful restaurants. Next, we visit the ruins of an old Portuguese castle, followed by a stroll beside an artificial waterfall that provides a refreshing atmosphere, and take in the view of the large amphitheatre overlooking the sea. Our journey then takes us to the Emirate of Sharjah, celebrated by UNESCO as the "Cultural Capital of the Arab World" and beautifully situated near a lagoon. We stop at Al Noor Mosque, regarded as the most beautiful among Sharjah's 600 mosques, known for its Ottoman design. From here, we can admire the green island of Al Noor, accessed by a bridge. Our exploration includes a visit to Sharjah Fort (admission included), a fascinating museum showcasing the history of the sovereign family, and then on to the Museum of Islamic Civilization, providing deep insights into the religion and culture of the Arab and Islamic world. Before departing, we experience the "Rain Room," a modern art installation where you can walk through artificial rain without getting wet. We then set off for Dubai, arriving around 18:30.
