Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Please Note: This is a bi-lingual, large group coach tour, where a majority of travellers are Spanish, so English will be the second language. For groups of 12 or more the tour is escorted by a bilingual (Spanish & English speaking) tour leader/escort. They will provide explanations about the itinerary, coordinate accommodation services, and ensure the smooth running of the tour, making your trip an enjoyable experience. When the group size is less than 12, this service may be provided by the driver. There will be experienced bi-lingual local guides for included city sightseeing.
Today we start our day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a panoramic city tour of Madrid. Explore its medieval origins, the Hapsburg and Bourbon districts, and landmarks such as Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, and the Prado Museum. Discover modern Madrid, including Gran Vía, Paseo de la Castellana, the Salamanca district, and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The afternoon is at your leisure.
Madrid - Cordoba. Depart west via the highway to Extremadura, the birthplace of several New World explorers. Arrive in Mérida, the region’s capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its well-preserved Roman ruins, including the theatre, amphitheatre, and Roman bridge. Enjoy free time before continuing to Córdoba, the former capital of the Caliphate.
Cordoba - Seville. Enjoy a city tour of Córdoba, featuring its stunning Mosque-Cathedral and the charming narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. Afterwards, continue to Seville.
We start our day with a panoramic city tour of Seville. Visit the Cathedral, the world’s second-largest Catholic church, explore the historic Santa Cruz quarter, and see Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to experience the city’s vibrant atmosphere. After our tour, the rest of the day is at leisure, and there's an optional Flamenco show available this evening.
Seville - Ronda - Costa del Sol. After breakfast at the hotel, we drive south through picturesque villages to Ronda. Enjoy free time to explore this historic town of Celtic origin and take in its stunning valley and mountain views. Continue to the Costa del Sol, a renowned international tourist destination. The afternoon is at your leisure.
Costa del Sol - Granada. Today we depart for Granada, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms until 1492. Visit the renowned Alhambra complex and the Generalife Gardens, which have inspired works like Tales of the Alhambra by Washington Irving. In the evening, an optional Flamenco Zambra show is available.
Granada - Toledo - Madrid. After breakfast we drive north to Toledo, the impressive Imperial City and UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Christian, Moorish, and Jewish cultures once coexisted. A symbol of Spain’s art, history, and spirituality, the entire city is a National Monument. Enjoy a short guided tour through its historic streets before continuing to Madrid.
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, an included transfer takes you to the airport for your departure.
