Salt Lake City to Grand Teton National Park
Salt Lake City - Grand Teton National Park. Welcome to Salt Lake City! We are departing from the Crystal Inn at 7am, unless otherwise specified in your tour documentation (address in trip Notes).
We are heading for Grand Teton National Park, dominated by the Grand Teton Mountain Range. These peaks towers over a landscape teeming with wildlife such as bison, as well as pristine lakes and lush plains.
Our walks in Grand Teton are unguided, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace.
Take a walk to Inspiration Point or enjoy a scenic stroll around Jenny Lake, marvelling at the stunning surroundings. Enjoy a picnic, keep your eyes peeled for bison and moose, or even catch sight of a grizzly bear. On this tour, all camping equipment is provided at a full service campground with electricity, Wi-Fi, hot showers and flush toilets. You will need to provide your own sleeping bag, or can hire one for $40 per person per tour. Must be booked in advance, please let us know at time of booking.

Yellowstone National Park
Grand Teton National Park - Yellowstone National Park. This morning, after breakfast, we will depart from Grand Teton National Park and head to Yellowstone National Park, where we will spend two nights in the United States oldest and most famous reserve. We'll explore the North and South loops, discovering bubbling geysers, including Old Faithful. Take in awe-inspiring landscapes and spot incredible wildlife, all led by our expert guide. As the world's first national park, Yellowstone is a wild mountain haven, home to grizzly bears, wolves, and herds of buffalo and elk.
We'll experience the unforgettable sights of Old Faithful’s powerful eruptions, the vibrant colours of the Grand Prismatic Pool, the dramatic heights of Yellowstone Canyon, and the otherworldly beauty of Mammoth Hot Springs. We'll be camping in the park itself, a memorable experience.

We'll continue our Yellowstone adventure with our guide, discovering more of the park's spectacular volcanic wonders. Our guide will tailor the day to suit our group's interests and abilities, ensuring a thrilling and unforgettable experience in this extraordinary landscape.

Back to Salt Lake City
Yellowstone National Park - Salt Lake City. Leaving Yellowstone, we'll have an immersive optional experience with native wildlife during a visit to the Yellowstone Grizzly Bear and Wolf Discovery Center (not included). Learn more about Yellowstone's top predators and how they came to dominate this unforgiving landscape.
This afternoon, we head back to Salt Lake City. Drop off will be back at the Crystal Inn at approximately 4pm.

All departure dates are guaranteed. Accommodation will be in two person tents. Solo travellers will be paired with another solo traveller of the same sex. For private groups of 8 or more, this tour can be run on a private basis - please contact us for a quote.

Campsite, Grand Teton National Park
The campsites we use vary by tour, but all are fully serviced and licensed campgrounds. At the campsites, all necessary equipment will be provided (except sleeping bags, if specified on itinerary). We will have a two-person tent, foam sleeping pad, and access to facilities such as electricity, flush toilets, hot showers, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor hot tub, though amenities may vary between campsites.
