We also visit the Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, and the 11th-century temples Baphuon and Phimeanakas.
Next, we explore Ta Prohm, famous for its massive tree roots entwined with ancient ruins, left intentionally by archaeologists to preserve the temple’s wild, overgrown character. As afternoon turns to evening, we visit the magnificent Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s iconic temple complex.
To conclude, we will enjoy a guided food tour by Remork tuk-tuk through Siem Reap’s bustling night market street. Sample authentic Cambodian street food and local beers while your guide shares insights into the flavours and culture of the Khmer people.

Sunrise, Temples & Floating Village Experience
We will have an early start this morning before dawn to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Angkor Wat. After breakfast at a local restaurant nearby, we visit the exquisite sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, dating back to 967 AD and dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, famed for its intricate red sandstone carvings.
In the afternoon, we explore Kampong Phluk, a secluded floating village of three communities built on stilts. These villages are flooded for around half the year (August to February), enabling scenic rowboat journeys through the flooded mangrove forests, a unique ecosystem rich in wildlife.
Back on dry land, experience a traditional monk blessing ceremony at an active pagoda, where the monk sprinkles holy water while chanting sacred Pali texts to wish good health and fortune. We return to Siem Reap and end the day with a sumptuous Khmer farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Please note: The villages are flooded for approximately half of the year, from August/September to February. If the water level of the lake permits, we will take a boat ride through the mangrove forest.
