Day 1 - Cartagena
Welcome to Cartagena. When you arrive at Rafael Núñez International Airport, we’ll greet you and arrange a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After you’ve checked in, the rest of the day is free – you can start to unwind and take in the city’s warm Caribbean atmosphere, where history, culture and the sea meet. Overnight in Cartagena.
Day 2 - Cartagena
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off on a guided city tour by air–conditioned vehicle. We take a panoramic drive along Castillo Grande Bay as our expert guide shares insights into Cartagena’s colonial past and everyday life, passing elegant Moorish and Republican–style architecture. We continue to the Convent of La Popa, set on a hill above the city, for sweeping views over Cartagena. Next, we explore the formidable San Felipe de Barajas Fortress – the greatest example of colonial military engineering in South America. We then pause at Las Bóvedas, a historic arcade now lined with colourful handicraft shops, where you can browse for local souvenirs. The tour concludes with a guided walk through the Walled City – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – taking in its plazas, cobbled streets and well–preserved colonial buildings. Overnight in Cartagena.
Day 3 - Cartagena
After breakfast at the hotel, the day is yours to enjoy Cartagena at your own pace. You can wander its colourful streets, relax by the pool, or head to nearby beaches for a relaxed day by the sea. If you’d like to explore further, you can join the optional Emerald Tour – a minimum of two guests is required – with hotel pick up at 8:00 am. Lasting around four hours and operating daily except Sunday, it visits the Emerald Museum to learn about the history, geology and craftsmanship behind the country’s most famous gemstone, then continues to a jewellery house in the historic centre to admire an exclusive collection, with time to browse if you wish. Overnight in Cartagena.
Day 4 - Cartagena
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you from your hotel to Rafael Núñez International Airport at the scheduled time for your departure flight – we hope you’ve enjoyed your stay in Cartagena and leave with lasting memories of its Caribbean charm.
