A brief boat journey takes us to Agilkia Island, where we will explore the impressive Temple of Isis at Philae. This evening, unwind and relish your inaugural night aboard as we cruise along the magnificent Nile.
Day 4 - Optional Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo & Luxor

Aswan - Luxor. This morning, you have the option to visit the remarkable Abu Simbel temples, a monumental testament to ancient Egypt's grandeur. These colossal structures, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Nubian Monuments," were exquisitely carved from the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC.
We then proceed to the Temple of Kom-Ombo, renowned for its unusual 'double' design. Here, we explore the dual sanctuaries dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris (Horus), the falcon god.
Our day concludes as we journey to Luxor for an overnight stay aboard a luxurious 5-star cruise ship.

This impressive site, dedicated to Amun, the ram-headed god, boasts a diverse array of temples, chapels, statues, and obelisks.
Next, we'll visit the Luxor Temple complex, dedicated to a triad of gods: Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. These temples were the focal point of the annual Opet Festival, which strengthened the connection between the pharaoh and Amun during the flood season.
