Sorrento Amalfi Flavours Experience

Upon arrival at Naples International Airport, you will be met in the arrivals hall by your driver. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Sorrento, where you can settle in and relax. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at leisure, allowing you to unwind and begin soaking up the atmosphere of this charming coastal town. Overnight in Sorrento.

After breakfast at the hotel, we collect you for a private visit to a family-run farm renowned for its local produce. Here, you’ll experience demonstrations of traditional mozzarella and limoncello making, set within an estate where lemons, oranges, mandarins, olives and grapes are cultivated. Following the demonstrations, enjoy a lunch featuring regional specialties paired with local wine. After lunch, we continue with a tasting of limoncello before returning to your hotel in Sorrento for a restful afternoon.

After an early breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and take a private transfer to the pier in Sorrento. From there, board the public ferry to Capri. Upon arrival, a cabriolet vehicle will be ready to take you around the island. Explore the stunning Gardens of Augustus and visit Villa San Michele. Then, ascend Monte Solaro by chairlift to enjoy panoramic views from the island’s highest point. In the afternoon, return by ferry to Sorrento, where you will be transferred back to your hotel for the evening.

After breakfast, we set off for a half-day excursion to Naples. We’ll explore the city centre on foot, visiting highlights such as the Cappella San Severo, Piazza del Plebiscito, Spaccanapoli, and the Maschio Angioino castle. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to sample traditional street food including pizza a portafoglio, frittatina, and sfogliatella. In the evening, we return to Sorrento for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Mount Vesuvius, ascending to around 1,000 metres. A specialist guide will lead you on a walk to the summit of this iconic volcano, which dominates the Bay of Naples with its distinctive cone. Around midday, enjoy lunch accompanied by a wine tasting. Afterwards, we continue to Pompeii, where your guide will take you through the remarkable archaeological site preserved beneath volcanic ash since 79 AD. Explore the ancient streets, interiors of homes, the Amphitheatre, and the Forum on a walking tour. You will return to Sorrento in the afternoon for some well-earned rest.

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off to explore one of the world’s most captivating coastlines. Along the way, we pause for a panoramic view of Positano from above, offering a stunning perspective of this iconic seaside village. Around midday, you have free time for lunch (not included) before we continue to Ravello, perched 1100 feet above sea level. Here, the views of the coastline are truly remarkable. Ravello is a peaceful village where much of the historic centre remains untouched, reflecting the grandeur of its elegant private residences. We return to Sorrento in the late afternoon for an evening at your leisure.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before spending the day at your own pace in Sorrento. You might choose to relax on the beach or explore the charming artisan shops scattered throughout the town centre.
