You can spend today exploring Tromso further. There is also an optional cable car ride to the top of Mount Storsteinen, which includes transfers from the hotel and back.

Day 3 - Tromso to Andenes

Tromso - Andenes. Today you have an approximately 8-hour journey ahead of you, from Tromso to Andenes. You'll make this journey via the Arctic Bus, passing through charming village and Arctic landscapes. Photo stops along the way include the island hotel of Sommaroy, the small villages of Brensholmen and Botnhamn and the scenic waterfront of Mefjord Brygge. Stop at the soft white sands of Ersfjord Beach, the forests of Skaland and Hamn i Senja Harbour.

You switch to the ferry at Gryllefjord which will take you straight to Andenes. Look out for whales en route, as this is one of Europe's top whale watching spots. On arrival in Andenes, your evening is at leisure.

Please note: This is a Hop-On Hop-Off bus service, however it only runs once per day. You are welcome to get off at designated photo stops, but don't miss the bus! If you do, you will need to make your own way to Andenes to continue the tour.

Keep your eyes peeled for huge white tailed eagles soaring overhead.

Back on dry land, the rest of the day is free for you to further explore Svolvaer at your own pace. In the evening, transfer to the pier for your included overnight cruise back to Tromso.
