Days 1-2 - Welcome to Oslo!
Upon arrival in Oslo, the capital of Norway, make your way to the hotel for check-in. For the first two days, you will have free time to explore Oslo, surrounded by forests and the beautiful Oslofjord. Stroll along Karl Johan Street, filled with shops, bars, and cafes, and visit the royal family's town.
Discover the iconic Frogner Park with 212 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland and the historic Akershus Fortress. You can also explore the Fram Museum, showcasing polar expedition ships, or visit the new Munch Museum.
During these two days, you can also opt for one of the available optional activities: a 2-hour fjord cruise or a 3-hour cycling tour. On the fjord cruise, sail past scenic islands like Hovedøya and Dyna Lighthouse, glide by the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet House, and pass the Bygdøy peninsula, home to the Maritime Museum and Fram Museum.
Alternatively, explore Oslo’s near car-free streets by bike. Visit landmarks like Akershus Fortress, City Hall, Karl Johans Gate, and the Royal Palace gardens. Discover the Vigeland Sculpture Park, admire neoclassical Frogner, and experience modern Tjuvholmen and Aker Brygge while enjoying coastal views of the fjord.
Day 3 - Oslo to Geilo

Oslo - Geilo. After breakfast, make your way to the car rental in the city centre to pick up your keys, then start your drive from Oslo through the Hallingdal Valley to Geilo. (approx.3.15 hours)
Once you have arrived in Geilo, you will have the chance to explore one of the National parks. Hallingskarvet National Park features rugged mountains, deep valleys, and plateaus, ideal for hiking and skiing. It’s home to reindeer and unique geological formations, like the Hallingskarvet ridge, or you can visit Hardangervidda National Park is one of Europe’s largest parks, known for its vast highlands, wild reindeer herds, and scenic hiking trails. It offers a true wilderness experience year-round.

Geilo - Eidfjord. Today, you will journey along Norway's breathtaking Hardangervidda Scenic Route to Eidfjord. As you drive, you'll be surrounded by vast highland plateaus, dramatic mountains, and tranquil lakes. Stop to admire the Hardangerjøkulen glacier and the stunning Vøringsfossen waterfall, one of the country’s most famous. Along the way, enjoy the picturesque villages and lush valleys, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and Norwegian charm.

Eidfjord - Bergen. After breakfast, you’ll have the option to visit the Hardangervidda Nature Centre (not included), an engaging experience centre focused on Norwegian nature, climate, and the environment. As an authorized visitor center for Hardangervidda National Park, it features state-of-the-art exhibitions that showcase both natural and cultural history, making it a top destination for learning about Norway's unique landscapes.
Next, begin your drive to Bergen, with a stop at the impressive Steinsdalsfossen waterfall. This stunning waterfall allows visitors to walk behind the cascading water for a unique and up-close experience. The surrounding lush greenery and scenic views make it a perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of Norway’s natural landscape before continuing your journey.
Once you have arrived in Bergen, make your way to the Bergen Airport to drop off your rental car. You've then got included tickets on the Flybussen shuttle bus to Bergen city centre, where you can make your way to the hotel for check in. the rest of the day is at leisure.

Today, enjoy a day at leisure to explore Bergen. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Bryggen, the historic port area listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through the fish market or lose yourself in the charming alleys lined with traditional wooden houses.
You will have the opportunity to embark on a funicular heading to Floyen. The Floibanen funicular in Bergen is one of Norway’s most popular attractions. The 5-8 minute ride takes you to the top of Floyen, 320 meters above sea level, offering stunning panoramic views of the city, the surrounding mountains, and the picturesque coastline. Once at the top, you can enjoy scenic walking trails, lush forests, and breathtaking vistas of Bergen and its fjords.
Alternatively, you can join a 3-hour food and culture walk through Bergen, exploring the city’s iconic seafood dishes. You'll sample Bergen-style smoked seafood, street food, traditional fish dishes, and a sweet dessert, accompanied by local craft beer or Scandinavian spirits. As you stroll, your guide will share insights into Bergen’s rich food culture and history, offering an insider’s perspective of the city.
