Day 1 - Cape Town Airport Arrival & V&A Waterfront Sunset Cruise
Once you have arrived at Cape Town International Airport, you are met in the arrivals hall by a representative holding your name board, before being escorted to your vehicle for the transfer to your hotel.
Between 5 pm and 6 pm, depending on the time of year, you are collected from your accommodation and transferred to the V&A Waterfront Jetty for a sunset cruise, which includes a welcome drink on board. The cruise lasts around 90 minutes, after which you are transferred back to your accommodation.
Day 2 - Robben Island Prison Museum, Table Mountain Cable Car & Bo-Kaap Colourful Houses
At around 8 am, you are collected from your hotel for a shared transfer to the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront's Clocktower Precinct, where your guide escorts you to the boarding queue for your included Robben Island ferry ticket.
Please note: please bring a copy of your ID or passport for verification before boarding.
On arrival at the island, you disembark and join a guided tour, following the Long March to Freedom in Nelson Mandela's footsteps and viewing his former prison cell, while learning about his life and that of other political prisoners held there. You then board the boat back to the Waterfront Jetty, with the full experience, including transfers, taking around 3.5 to 4 hours.
After meeting your guide back at the waterfront, you continue to Table Mountain for a cable car ride to the summit, using your included ticket for the return journey.
Please note: a light lunch or refreshments are available at the mountaintop café at an additional cost.
Once you've explored the mountain, you return to the base and continue into the city centre for sightseeing and photos in Bo-Kaap, known for its colourful houses, before being dropped off at your hotel between 5 pm and 6 pm.
Day 3 - Franschhoek Hop-On Hop-Off Wine Tram Experience
At around 8:30 am, you are collected from your hotel for a shared transfer to Franschhoek, known as South Africa's food and wine capital, for a full day exploring the region's wine estates aboard the Hop-On Hop-Off Wine Tram, using your included ticket to visit up to six or seven estates throughout the day.
Please note: lunch should be booked in advance once you've received your Wine Tram route planner. Wine tasting fees at individual estates are also excluded from the tour price, typically ranging between R60 and R150 depending on the tasting option chosen.
At the end of the day, you return to the Wine Tram station to meet your guide for the transfer back to your hotel, arriving between 5:30 pm and 6 pm.
Day 4 - Checkout & Cape Town Airport Departure
After breakfast, you are transferred from your hotel to Cape Town International Airport for your departure flight.
Please note: please confirm your pick-up time with your guide the day before to ensure a timely transfer.
