Itinerary
Day 1 - Bangkok
On arrival at Bangkok International Airport, our representative will meet and welcome you, then guide you to your transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace – you could unwind with a traditional Thai massage, sample local flavours, and round off the evening with sunset views from one of the city’s stylish rooftop bars. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 2 - Bangkok
After breakfast at the hotel, we join the Bang Rak food tour – meet the guide at 10:00 at BTS Saphan Taksin Skytrain Station, Exit 3. We begin with renowned roasted duck on rice, a Bang Rak favourite served for over 50 years, then refresh with authentic Chinese bitter water and local sweets as we stroll the lively streets. We continue with homemade fish ball noodles in a distinctive pink soup, followed by Thai style grilled pork. Along the way we take in Charoenkrung Road – Thailand’s first road – and explore bustling Bang Rak Market. We stop at a much-loved family bakery that has served Thai pandan custard bread and Thai tea for more than 70 years – now run by the fourth generation. We visit the Assumption Cathedral and sample more Thai desserts. Crossing the Chao Phraya River, we sit down to North Eastern favourites including fried chicken with lemongrass, papaya salad and spicy grilled pork salad. We finish at ICONSIAM with river views and another taste of Thai sweets – the tour ends at BTS Charoen Nakhon Station. Along the way you may meet local students.In the evening, we board the White Orchid for around two hours cruising and dining on the Chao Phraya River. Departing from Asiatique pier, enjoy a welcome drink as we glide past the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), the Royal Grand Palace (Wat Phra Kaew) and the Rama VIII Bridge. We return to the pier, where a private transfer takes you back to the hotel. We include private unescorted transfers between your hotel and the meeting and end points for both tours. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3 - Bangkok
This morning, we delve into Thai cooking with experienced instructors, learning techniques that bring authentic Thai flavours to life. We begin with a visit to a local Bangkok market to explore the stalls and fresh ingredients central to Thai cuisine, before transferring back to the cooking school to prepare a four–course Thai menu from scratch. At the end of the session, we receive an E–recipe book. We then transfer back to the hotel and you have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 4 - Bangkok
After a final breakfast at the hotel, you have free time to spend at leisure – we then provide an unescorted transfer to Bangkok Airport for your onward flight.
