Day 1 - Arrive in Chicago
Arrive in Chicago and transfer independently to your hotel. This evening, meet your ATI Tour Director.
Day 2 - Discover Chicago

Today we take a short tour of Chicago’s highlights, including Lake Shore Drive, the Magnificent Mile and Navy Pier. The city’s striking skyline - featuring the iconic Willis Tower - reflects its role as a major cultural and financial centre. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 3 - Midwest Journey to Sioux Falls
Chicago - Sioux Falls. We travel through classic Midwestern farmland, with vast corn and wheat fields and dairy farms. Crossing the Mississippi River, we continue into Iowa and onwards to the Missouri River, following in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark. Overnight in Sioux Falls
Day 4 - Badlands and Mount Rushmore

Sioux Falls - Badlands - Mt Rushmore - Deadwood. We head west across South Dakota’s open grasslands to Badlands National Park, known for its dramatic rock formations and layered colours. Continuing into the Black Hills - sacred to the Plains Indians - we visit Mount Rushmore, where the faces of four US presidents are carved into the granite mountainside. Overnight in Deadwood.
Day 5 - Through Wyoming to Cody

Deadwood - Bighorn Mountains - Cody. Entering Wyoming, often called the Equality State, we pass through a landscape of mountain ranges, desert and rolling plains. We continue to Cody for an overnight stay. If weather or road conditions prevent this, accommodation will be in Billings or Livingston, Montana.
Day 6 - Explore Yellowstone National Park

Cody - Yellowstone. We travel into Yellowstone, the first national park in the United States. A sightseeing tour introduces its remarkable geothermal features, including geysers, waterfalls, canyons and wildlife. Highlights include Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Hayden Valley.
Day 7 - Grand Teton to Salt Lake City

Yellowstone - Grand Teton - Salt lake City. We journey through Grand Teton National Park - weather permitting - where dramatic peaks rise above 13,000 feet. We stop at Snake River Overlook, made famous by photographer Ansel Adams. The area is home to wildlife such as bison, moose and elk. Later, we arrive in Salt Lake City and take a short city tour, including the State Capitol, Temple Square and the Tabernacle. This evening, you may choose to dine at the Rooftop Restaurant for views over Temple Square.
Day 8 - Bryce Canyon Experience

Salt Lake City - Bryce Canyon. Today we travel to Bryce Canyon National Park. We explore its unique landscape of sandstone spires and hoodoos, shaped by erosion into striking natural formations. This evening, weather permitting, you may wish to enjoy the clear night skies and stargazing.
Day 9 - Lake Powell and Grand Canyon

Bryce Canyon - Lake Powell - Grand canyon - Flagstaff. Departing Bryce Canyon, we continue to Lake Powell, where deep blue water contrasts with red rock canyon walls. Formed by the damming of the Colorado River, it is one of the largest man-made lakes in the United States. We then visit the Grand Canyon, one of the world’s great natural wonders, stopping at the East Rim for sweeping views of its vast scale and the Colorado River below. Overnight in Flagstaff on historic Route 66.
Day 10 - Route 66 to Las Vegas

Flagstaff - Seligman - Las Vegas. We depart Flagstaff and travel towards Las Vegas. En route, we pass through Seligman, a preserved stretch of Route 66 that captures the spirit of mid-20th-century America. Arrive in Las Vegas, where the rest of the day is free to explore the famous Strip.
Day 11 - Mojave Desert to Los Angeles

Las Vegas - Mojave - Beverly Hills - Los Angeles. We travel through the Mojave Desert, known for its distinctive Joshua trees and vast desert landscapes. On arrival in Los Angeles, we take a short city tour including Hollywood, Sunset Strip and parts of Beverly Hills. The tour concludes upon arrival at the hotel at approximately 17:00.
