Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to New York
Arrive in New York City and make your own way to the hotel, where you will meet your Tour Director.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Exploring New York City

This morning we enjoy a guided tour of Manhattan, taking in iconic sights such as the Empire State Building, Times Square and Central Park.
The afternoon and evening are free. Your Tour Director can help with plans - perhaps a walk through Central Park, an optional helicopter flight over Manhattan, or simply soaking up the atmosphere in Times Square.
Day 3 - Journey to Niagara Falls via the Finger Lakes
New York City - Watkins Glen - Niagara Falls. We travel across New York State through the scenic Finger Lakes region before crossing into Canada and arriving at Niagara Falls, one of the world’s great natural wonders.
En route, we stop at Watkins Glen on the shores of Lake Seneca for a wine tasting. This evening is spent at Niagara Falls.
Day 4 - From Niagara Falls to Amish Country

Niagara Falls - Pennsylvania Dutch Country. This morning there is time to explore the Falls. You may wish to walk to Table Rock for close-up views of Horseshoe Falls or join an optional Hornblower Cruise to the base of the falls, followed by lunch at the Skylon Tower.
Later, we travel to Pennsylvania Dutch Country, also known as Amish Country, for our overnight stay.
Day 5 - Through Gettysburg to Washington, D.C.

Pennsylvania Dutch Country - Gettysburg - Washington DC. We continue through the Appalachian Mountains, following the Susquehanna River - the longest river on the American East Coast.
This afternoon we visit Gettysburg, site of the largest battle ever fought on American soil and where Abraham Lincoln delivered his famous address in 1863. We then travel on to Washington, D.C., with an optional evening tour available.
Day 6 - Onward to Los Angeles
Washington DC - Los Angeles. Today you transfer to the airport for your flight to Los Angeles. On arrival, we transfer to the hotel.
Please note: The flight from Washington to Los Angeles is not included and must be booked independently by you.
Day 7 - Discovering San Diego

Los Angeles - The o.c - San Diego - Los Angeles. We travel south via San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente to San Diego, known for its mild climate.
After a city tour, we visit Seaport Village, a relaxed waterfront area with shops and cafés, before returning to Los Angeles.
Day 8 - Across the Desert to Phoenix and Scottsdale
Los Angeles - Palm Springs - Phoenix. We journey through Palm Springs, once a retreat for Hollywood stars, set against the San Jacinto Mountains. Passing through Indio in the Coachella Valley - known for its date production - we continue across the desert to Phoenix and Scottsdale
Day 9 - Sedona and the Grand Canyon

Phoenix - Sedona - Grand Canyon. We travel through the Sonoran Desert, one of the most diverse desert ecosystems in the Americas, before reaching Sedona with its striking red rock formations.
Continuing through Oak Creek Canyon, we arrive at the Grand Canyon. At the rim, we take in the vast scale of this natural wonder, carved over millions of years by the Colorado River.
Day 10 - Monument Valley and Lake Powell

Grand Canyon - Monument Valley - Lake Powell. After a stop at Desert View, we continue through Navajo Nation, passing Cameron Trading Post and the Painted Desert.
We then visit Monument Valley, famed for its dramatic sandstone buttes and iconic Western landscapes. Later, we arrive in Page, set above the Colorado River near Lake Powell.
Day 11 - Bryce Canyon and Southern Utah

Lake Powell - Kanab - Bryce Canyon. We visit Glen Canyon Dam, one of the highest concrete-arch dams in the United States, with views over Lake Powell.
Crossing into Utah, we pass through Kanab before arriving at Bryce Canyon. Here we explore a landscape of colourful hoodoos - tall, thin rock spires shaped by erosion. This evening, weather permitting, you may wish to admire the clear night sky.
Day 12 - Zion National Park to Las Vegas

Bryce Canyon - Zion - Las Vegas. We travel to Zion National Park to see its towering rock formations carved by the Virgin River. Later, we continue to Las Vegas, known for its entertainment, shopping and nightlife.
Day 13 - Las Vegas at Leisure

Today is at leisure. You can explore the famous Strip, enjoy a show, relax by the pool, or dine at one of the city’s renowned restaurants.
Day 14 - Return to Los Angeles and Departure
Las Vegas - Los Angeles. We return to Los Angeles, where the tour concludes on arrival.
