Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Beijing
On arrival in Beijing, we are met by our local guide and driver and transfer to the hotel, a journey of approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to rest after your journey or begin exploring the city at your own pace.
Day 2 - Imperial Beijing

After breakfast at the hotel, we visit Tiananmen Square, the vast public space that witnessed the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Framed by significant landmarks and dominated by the iconic portrait of Mao Zedong at the Tiananmen Gate, the square is one of the largest in the world and holds immense historical and cultural importance.
We then enter the Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum. For over 500 years, this immense imperial complex was home to the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties and was strictly closed to the outside world. With more than 800 buildings and nearly 9,000 chambers, it remains the best-preserved palace complex in China.
Please Note: The Forbidden City is closed on Mondays. If tickets are unavailable during peak season, we visit the Lama Temple and Confucius Temple instead.
In the afternoon, we visit the Temple of Heaven, regarded as one of the finest examples of religious architecture in China. This sacred site was where emperors prayed to Heaven for good harvests, reflecting the deep connection between imperial power and nature.
We also visit a traditional tea store to learn more about China’s long-standing tea culture.
Day 3 - The Great Wall at Mutianyu

After breakfast, we travel to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the most renowned and well-preserved stretches of this iconic monument. Set among rolling mountains, the scenery changes dramatically with the seasons, from spring blossoms and summer greenery to autumn foliage and winter snow. Mutianyu is admired both in China and internationally for its impressive structure and scenic setting.
We then visit a jade factory to gain insight into jade craftsmanship, an art form that has been highly valued in Chinese culture for thousands of years. Afterwards, we return to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure, with meals at your own arrangement.
Day 4 - Departure from Beijing
After breakfast at the hotel, time is at leisure until our transfer to the airport or railway station for departure.
