Day 1 - Huangshan City - Huangshan - Huang Shan Shi
Arrive at Huangshan Airport or railway station, where a representative will meet you and escort you on a private 30-minute transfer to your hotel in Huangshan. Once settled, enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. You may choose to rest after your journey or explore the city to get your first impression of this vibrant urban area. Overnight in Huangshan.
Day 2 - Huangshan City - Huangshan
After breakfast, we will collect you from the hotel lobby at around 8:30 and drive approximately two hours to Mount Huangshan, also known as Yellow Mountain. From there, we take the Yungu cable car up the mountain to explore its striking granite peaks, distinctive Huangshan pine trees, hot springs, and panoramic views above the clouds. We will visit key sights including Beginning-to-believe Peak, Flower-scattering Valley and Lion Peak over the course of about two hours. At lunchtime, we will check in to the hotel and enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, which is included. In the afternoon, we continue with a three-hour tour of the West Sea Grand Canyon, focusing on the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion area. You will return to the hotel by approximately 18:00, with the evening free to relax or sample local cuisine at your own expense. Overnight accommodation is at the mountain hotel.
Day 3 - Huangshan City - Huang Shan Shi
After breakfast, we set out for a three-and-a-half-hour exploration of Flying Rock and Bright Summit, renowned for their striking rocky landscapes and recognised as part of a World Heritage Site. Following this, we break for lunch at a local restaurant (included). In the afternoon, we continue to the North Sea Scenic Area, the heart of Mt. Huangshan, where many famous peaks and sights converge, including Lion Peak, Shixin Peak, Stalagmite Peak, the Refreshing Terrace, Monkey Gazing at the Sea, Immortal Shouldering the Treasure, and Flying Stone. Around 15:00, we take the Yungu cable car down the mountain and drive back to Tunxi. We arrive at the hotel by approximately 18:00 for check-in, leaving the evening free for you to relax or explore at your leisure.
Day 4 - Huang Shan Shi
After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure in Huangshan. You may choose to explore the city’s attractions at your own pace or simply relax and make use of your hotel’s facilities. Alternatively, you can join an optional full-day excursion to Hongcun and Xidi Villages. We will collect you from the hotel at 8:30 for the two-and-a-half-hour drive to Hongcun, a village laid out in the shape of an ox beside Leigang Hill. Stroll along the Jiyin stream and take in the views of lakes such as South Lake. The village features around 150 well-preserved residences from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, renowned for their architecture and intricate carvings. After lunch at a local restaurant (not included), we continue to Xidi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can visit traditional wooden homes and admire their detailed craftsmanship. You will return to your hotel in Huangshan by 17:00 for an evening at leisure.
Day 5 - Huang Shan Shi
After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey or return trip.
