Welcome to Costa Rica. Upon arrival at the airport, a local representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel in San José. After checking in, you will have free time to relax and settle into your room. You may also choose to explore the city and its surroundings at your own pace. Overnight stay in San José.

We begin early with check-out from the hotel, ready for a shared transfer departing around 6:00 am to Tortuguero National Park on the North Caribbean Coast. En route, we stop at Guápiles city around 8:30 am for breakfast before continuing to La Pavona dock. Here, we board a shared boat that will take us through the waterways to the lodge, offering a peaceful and relaxed setting. We arrive around 1:00 pm for check-in followed by a included lunch. At approximately 2:30 pm, we meet our guide for an expedition through the Tortuguero Canals. This boat tour explores lagoons and narrow canals, bringing you close to the region’s abundant wildlife. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. Overnight accommodation is at the lodge in Tortuguero.

After breakfast, meet your guide at 9:00 am for a walk along the lodge’s private trails, offering a close encounter with the local flora and fauna. You’ll have free time in the morning to relax by the pool or unwind at the lodge. In the afternoon, around 2:30 pm, join your guide for a visit to the small, picturesque village of Tortuguero, where you can experience local life and culture. Return to the lodge afterwards to rest. After breakfast at the lodge, check out and prepare for departure around 9:30 am. We begin with a shared transfer combining boat and land travel from Tortuguero to a restaurant in Guápiles city, where lunch is included. Following lunch, at approximately 1:30 pm, a local representative will meet you for a shared transfer to La Fortuna de San Carlos, the gateway to the impressive Arenal Volcano. Upon arrival around 4:00 pm, check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax and make use of the hotel facilities. Overnight in Arenal.

Breakfast is served at the hotel. You have the day at leisure to relax or explore the Arenal region independently, taking in its natural beauty and local attractions at your own pace. Overnight stay in Arenal.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet your local representative at 7:30 am for the transfer to the Monteverde Cloud Forest region. The journey begins with a scenic boat crossing of Lake Arenal to Rio Chiquito, followed by a land transfer to your hotel in Monteverde. Arriving around midday, you will check in and then have free time to relax and explore the natural surroundings at your own pace. Overnight in Monteverde.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Monteverde at your own pace. You might choose to visit one of the renowned biological reserves, take a thrilling zipline tour soaring above the forest canopy, stroll along suspension bridges for unique views of the treetops, or immerse yourself in local culture with a coffee plantation tour or a Costa Rican cooking class. After breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet your local representative in the lobby at around 8:00 am for a shared transfer back to San José. Upon arrival around midday, check in to your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax or explore the capital city at your own pace. Overnight in San José.

Around 6:00 am, meet your local representative in the hotel lobby for a full-day excursion to Tortuga Island, located off the Nicoya Peninsula in Puntarenas Province. Breakfast is served en route. Upon arrival in Puntarenas city, board a catamaran and cruise along the coast, taking in the stunning ocean views while enjoying music and tropical snacks on board. Reach the picturesque Tortuga Island, where you can relax on the beach, swim in the clear turquoise waters and soak up the sun. Lunch is served on the beach. At approximately 3:00 pm, begin the return journey to San Jose by catamaran, watching the sunset over the water before continuing by road to your hotel. Overnight in San Jose.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and prepare for your departure. At the arranged time, a local representative will collect you from the lobby and provide shared transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport for your onward flight.
