Day 1 - Rovaniemi

Welcome to Finland. On arrival in Rovaniemi, a private transfer will take you to the hotel. The rest of your first night in Lapland is at leisure, or if you have time you could book some of the available optional activities.
Day 2 - Husky Sleigh Ride

Today, at 11:15, head to the local kennels for your included 3km husky sleigh ride. Before departing, you'll meet the friendly huskies and learn how to control the sleds. As you head out into the wilderness, take turns to stand behind the sleigh and control it (the musher), and sit on the sleigh (the passenger). After the adventure, relax with a hot drink back at the kennels.
The rest of the day is at leisure - consider booking some of the available optional excursions.
Day 3 - Exploring Santa Claus Village

After breakfast, a private transfer will take you to Santa Claus Village, which is free to enter. Today is dedicated to exploring. You can meet the man himself in his office, send a postcard home with a special Santa stamp and cross the Arctic Circle. There's also plenty of time for shopping and optional winter activities. After a day spent getting into the Christmas spirit, you'll be transferred back to the hotel.
Day 4 - Rovaniemi

After breakfast and hotel check out, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!

Reindeer Safari
Memorable reindeer sleigh ride. Transportation by car to a reindeer farm to try reindeer sleighing. This traditional way of travelling through snowy forests is a unique experience – in the evening, you may even see the Northern Lights blaze up the sky. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee with a bun around a campfire and learn about the life of reindeer herders. DURATION: 2h – 2h 30min incl. transfers (safari approx. 1h).

Aurora Borealis Safari by Snowmobile
Experience the Arctic night by driving through the snow-covered forest and on the frozen river. With a little luck, you will travel under a bright sky lit by the moon and the stars. Perhaps the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights – will appear to show you the way. Sip warm beverages and savour a snack by a campfire and learn more about the Northern Lights and Lapland. DURATION: 3h (not available in April).

White Silence on Snowshoes (3 hours)
Capture the true feeling of the arctic in the northern woods. A snowshoe adventure through the picturesque snowy countryside. Experience the silence and beauty of wintery forests on this guided snowshoe hike. Have a break by an open fire and enjoy some snacks while the only sound you will hear is the sough of the forest and the campfire. (This safari is suitable for children of 12 or older). DURATION: 3h.

Altai Skiing Trip
Altai ski is a short, easy-to-use forest ski that combines the best features of a snowshoe and ski and does not require earlier experience in skiing. A peaceful ski tour through the silent while forest with a break for hot beverages. (This safari is suitable for children of 12 or older). DURATION: 3h

Excursion to Reindeer and Husky Farms
They love the cold and live peacefully in northern nature. Come and meet these arctic animals! First we will visit a local reindeer farm and learn about our Lappish culture and reindeer husbandry. Sit back in reindeer drawn sleigh and enjoy peaceful 30 minute reindeer ride through the forest. Everyone will be issued an international reindeer driver's license before entering the next part of your adventure – husky farm! At the husky farm we try a slightly faster 20 minute ride with the huskies. After the ride the flames of campfire and hot drinks keep us warm while learning more about these amazing dogs. Transfers are done by car. DURATION: 2h 30min incl. transfer.

Reindeer Safari to Santa
Lapland is well-known for Santa Claus and his reindeer. What a great way to see both by joining us for a reindeer safari to the Santa Claus Village! Sitting in the sleigh pulled by the reindeer we make our way from the Reindeer Farm to Santa’ s Village along the snowy trails of the wintry forest. In the village we have some free time to meet Santa in his office, send postcards from the Santa Claus Main Post Office and explore handicraft and souvenir shops. Awarded a Reindeer Driving Licence and a Certificate for Crossing the Arctic Circle, you will not forget this experience. Transfers are done by car. DURATION: 4h incl. transfers (reindeer ride approx. 30min)

Husky Farm Safari (3km)
Wintertime safari with husky teams. After a short drive from town, we’ll arrive at a husky ranch, where these friendly dogs will bark an enthusiastic welcome to you. Before departing on the safari, you will be given instruction on how to control the sleds. Enjoy some hot berry juice by an open fire and chat with the head musher about these amazing northern animals once you return to the ranch. DURATION: 1h 45min incl. transfers (husky drive approx. 20 min).

Husky Farm Safari (10km)
Wintertime safari with husky teams. After a short drive from town, we’ll arrive at a husky ranch, where these friendly dogs will bark an enthusiastic welcome to you. Before departing on the safari, you will be given instruction on how to control the sleds. In the Heart of Nature (5-6 hours)
Wilderness snowmobile safari. Enjoy the great outdoors on this safari to the heart of nature. The trail traverses rugged hills and narrow valleys before coming to the first stop, where you have the chance to try ice fishing and snowshoe walking. You’ll then continue onwards through the forest – perhaps coming across a herd of reindeer searching for their favourite food, moss and lichen, buried under as much as one metre of snow. Keep your eyes open for other forest animals searching for food! A delicious Lappish style lunch will be served during the day. (Note: This safari is suitable only for adults and children 15 years and over

Fishing Experience by Snowmobile (4 hours)
Ice fishing safari to a wilderness lake. Head north on a snowmobile trail that takes you along the frozen River Ounasjoki and through snowy forests up into the hills, where you can admire the beautiful surrounding countryside of Lapland. Follow the trail through white, snow-covered fields to arrive at a small wilderness lake. The silence will envelop you as you prepare to go fishing. Try your hand at traditional ice fishing and fry your catch over a campfire. Afterwards, return to town for a well-earned rest.

Snowmobile Safari to Husky Farm (3.5 hours)
If you like huskies and snowmobiles, this safari is for you! After an exhilarating snowmobile ride, you will reach the breeding of huskies, where the dogs will welcome you to the sound of their warm barking. You will enjoy 20 thrilling minutes of walking with huskies and discover the life of the breeding. Guests can enjoy hot drinks around a campfire on the farm, before returning by snowmobile to Rovaniemi.

Snowmobile Safari to Reindeer Farm (3 hours)
A snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm. First you will learn about our Lappish culture and reindeer husbandry. Everyone who passes a reindeer-driving test will be issued an international reindeer driver's license and you have the possibility of participating in a special Lapp ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle. Enjoy a cup of hot coffee or berry juice before returning back to town.

Santa Claus Safari (6 hours)
This safari combines nature, culture and the spirit of Christmas. The day starts with a snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm where you will hear more about reindeer husbandry and Lappish culture. You can take a reindeer ride and attend a special Lapp ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle. In the afternoon the trip continues by car to Santa Claus Village with time to do shopping in Santa Claus’ Village. You will also have an opportunity to send postcards from Santa Claus main post office. During the day you get to meet Santa Claus himself and enjoy a delicious lunch in a cosy restaurant. And you will get a Diploma for crossing the Arctic Circle!

Drivers Dream (3 hours)
This safari is more focused on piloting than on breaks. Snowmobile safari for those who want to fly first. All participants will discover the joys of solo snowmobiling on tracks with varied profiles. You can also admire beautiful landscapes! A hot berry juice will be offered during the safari. NOTE! This safari is reserved for adults with a valid driver's license, as each participant drives an individual snowmobile.

Snowmobile Safaris to Wilderness (2 hours)
The best way to get to the heart of nature – and back. During this fun safari, you’ll learn how to snowmobile along frozen rivers and through forests covered with snow. Enjoy the beautiful views of the river valley from the hilltops. A break with hot beverages will keep your motor running

Day Trip to Ranua Wildlife Park
Located one hour away from Rovaniemi, the Ranua Wildlife Park is the northernmost wildlife park in the world. It houses approximately 50 wild animal species and 200 individuals. In the park, it is possible to see polar bears, brown bears, reindeer, wolves, wolverines, lynx, predatory birds, otters, wild boars, and so many others! Duration: 4,5 hours. Included: Transfers, entrance tickets, thermal outfits, outdoor guide in English. Note: Not suitable for children under 4 years old. This tour is not recommended for travellers with very limited mobility, a certain amount of walking is involved (2.5km).
