Day 1 - Welcome to Athens & Visit Cape Sounio

On arrival at Athens airport, we transfer you to your chosen hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned luxury car. Athens offers a selection of exceptional hotels, and this package includes some of the finest. In the afternoon, we take a scenic drive along the coastal road, passing the beautiful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza, before reaching Cape Sounio – the southernmost point of Attica. Here, the striking white marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon stand overlooking the sea. Along the way, you will enjoy splendid views of the Saronic Gulf and its offshore islands. After exploring the temple, you have time to walk at leisure on the rocky promontory before we return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Athens.
Day 2 - Explore Epidaurus, Nafplio and Mycenae and & Travel to Olympia

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we travel along the coastal road to the Corinth Canal, pausing briefly to admire this impressive engineering feat. We then continue to the Theatre of Epidauros, renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Next, we visit the charming town of Nafplion, where you can capture some striking photographs. Our journey proceeds to Mycenae to explore the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon, significant remnants of ancient Greek civilisation. From there, we drive through the heart of the Peloponnese, passing the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis, before arriving in Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, where we stay overnight.
Day 3 - Explore Olympia & Transfer to Delphi

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we explore the Archaeological Site featuring the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum. Following this, we travel through the plains of Elis and Achaia, crossing the impressive bridge spanning the Corinthian Gulf from Rion to Antirion. We then pass the charming towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea before arriving in Delphi. Here, you will settle into a comfortable room and enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 4 - Discover Delphi & Travel to Kalambaka

After breakfast, we visit the Archaeological Site and Museum in Delphi, exploring the remains that once made this ancient sanctuary a centre of Greek culture and prophecy. Afterwards, we travel to Kalambaka, a small town nestled at the base of the remarkable Meteora rock formations. Here, you will stay overnight, ready to explore the unique landscape the following day.
Day 5 - Visit Meteora & Return to Athens

After breakfast, we visit the remarkable Meteora, where ancient monasteries sit atop towering rock formations, offering a unique glimpse of Byzantine art amid dramatic natural surroundings. We then return to Athens, travelling through Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae. Along the way, we pause briefly to see the Monument of Leonidas. On arrival in Athens, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey, with transfers scheduled after 8pm.
