Day 1 - Denpasar - Ubud
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali’s bustling capital often called ‘the island of 1,000 temples’. We will transfer you comfortably to Ubud, a charming village renowned as Bali’s artistic heart, located in the island’s centre. Ubud is home to many celebrated local and international artists. After checking in to your hotel, you have the rest of the day at leisure to settle in and explore at your own pace. Overnight in Ubud.
Day 2 - Ubud
After breakfast at the hotel, begin an unforgettable journey through Ubud and its scenic surroundings in a striking vintage car—a rare sight on these roads. Drive through picturesque villages such as Keliki and Sebali, nestled in northern Ubud, while enjoying views of lush rice terraces. Continue to Tampak Siring to visit its renowned water temple, famous for its sacred spring water that has attracted Balinese worshippers for over a millennium. Here, you can see the bathing pools featuring traditional Balinese architectural designs. Next, explore the seldom-visited Goa Garba Temple, an ancient cave perched on a steep cliff beside the Pakerisan River, known for its spiritual significance. After this, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Goa Gajah, or The Elephant Cave, a significant Hindu archaeological site with a mysterious cave entrance resembling a demon’s mouth and an ancient bathing pool set amid verdant rice fields. Return to Ubud for a leisurely stroll through its charming streets before heading back to your hotel for the evening. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 3 - Ubud
Rise early and meet your expert local guide for a transfer to Guliang Kawan village in central Bali. Upon arrival, experience a warm Balinese welcome as you enter a traditional compound, where tea, coffee and local cakes are served. Explore the compound and observe daily village life before learning about the process of making coconut oil. Discover traditional crafts including blacksmithing, hat-making, the production of Balinese wine known as ‘tuak’, and weaving mats from pandanus leaves. You will also see flower and fruit arrangements, an important part of Balinese custom passed down through generations. Try your hand at climbing a coconut tree to harvest coconuts for drinks, then participate in rice planting using traditional tools – a memorable hands-on experience. Afterward, relax at the Bale Bengong (gazebo) while enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, visit Penglipuran, a village renowned for its well-preserved traditional Balinese architecture, including distinctive entrances lining the village road. Return to your hotel for some free time before heading out in the early evening to enjoy a captivating Balinese Kecak dance performance, which tells an epic love story. Afterwards, return to your hotel for overnight in Ubud. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 4 - Ubud - Bedugul - Munduk - Banjar
After breakfast, we will collect you from your hotel and transfer to Carangsari Village, where your bicycles await for a gentle ride through the peaceful countryside. Your cycling guide will provide a safety briefing and explain the route before you set off. The ride takes you through unspoiled rice terraces, traditional villages, and temples, offering opportunities to meet locals, capture scenic views, and learn about the area’s culture. At the end of the cycle, we will transfer you to a nearby restaurant for lunch. Afterwards, continue to Bedugul, a cool mountain village beside Lake Bratan, where you can explore the botanical gardens and fresh market. From there, we travel north to the mountain resort of Munduk, passing the twin lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 5 - Munduk - Pemuteran - Gerokgak
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for a gentle hike around Munduk, returning to the twin lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan. The trail leads through rainforest and past plantations, offering insight into Balinese medicinal plants along the way. Upon reaching the lakeside, we board a traditional wooden boat to cross these serene waters. After the boat trip, we return to the hotel in Munduk to freshen up and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we travel onwards to your hotel in Pemuteran, where you have the remainder of the day at your leisure. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 6 - Pemuteran - Gerokgak
After breakfast, depart from the hotel and board a traditional wooden boat to Menjangan Island. Known for its clear waters and rich marine life, the island offers excellent opportunities to observe turtles, vibrant coral gardens, eels, sharks and other fascinating sea creatures. We encourage you to snorkel in the pristine waters or simply enjoy swimming as we make our way to the island. Once there, you can explore the peaceful beaches and surrounding jungle or continue your water activities. A picnic lunch will be served before returning to the hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore the tranquil area at your leisure. Overnight in Pemuteran. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 7 - Pemuteran - Kintamani - Candidasa - Kecamatan Manggis
After breakfast, we set off to explore West Bali National Park. Begin with a walk through the monsoon forest, where you can learn about local medicinal plants and take in some of the island’s finest panoramic views. We cross a small seasonal river and keep an eye out for wildlife such as monitor lizards, wild chickens, various bird species and monkeys. Next, we explore the mangrove forest before driving to Kintamani. Here, enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking the impressive, still-active Mount Batur volcano. In the afternoon, we continue to Bali’s east coast, arriving at your hotel in Candidasa for an overnight stay. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 8 - Candidasa - Besakih - Sanur - Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan
After breakfast, we transfer to Rendang for an exciting white-water rafting adventure. Your experienced local guides will provide a safety briefing and equipment before you set off along the river valley. The 14-kilometre journey combines calm stretches with thrilling rapids, all framed by lush rainforest and dramatic waterfalls. Upon reaching the finish point, enjoy a delicious Indonesian buffet lunch. Afterwards, we visit Besakih, Bali’s largest and holiest temple complex, situated on the slopes of Mount Agung, the island’s highest volcano. In the late afternoon, we transfer to Sanur, a charming coastal town known for its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful beaches. Check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 9 - Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before spending the day at your leisure. You may choose to relax and unwind at the hotel, explore the local area independently, or join an optional tour to further discover Sanur and its surroundings. Overnight in Sanur.
Day 10 - Sanur - Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to Denpasar Airport. This marks the end of your journey, whether you are heading home or continuing to your next destination. Breakfast is included.
