You’ll explore the vibrant streets of Marrakech before heading to Meknes, with its impressive gates and bustling markets. The tour continues to the photogenic blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains, then on to Fes, where you’ll wander its UNESCO-listed medina and historic sites. Day 1 - Marrakech - Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, our tour representative will welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. After checking in, you have the remainder of the day at your leisure. You may choose to relax at the hotel or explore the vibrant streets of Marrakech, a city renowned for its rich history and status as Morocco’s most significant imperial city. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
Day 2 - Marrakech - Meknes
After breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel reception and set off on a scenic drive to Meknes. En route, you will pass through the charming towns of Settat and Berrechid before reaching Rabat, where you may choose to stop for lunch or wait until you arrive at your destination. Upon arrival in Meknes, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Meknes, the smallest of Morocco’s imperial cities, is rich in history and notable landmarks. Be sure to explore Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum, the impressive Bab Mansour gate, the granaries of Moulay Ismail, Lehedim Square, as well as the vibrant souks and bustling local market. Day 3 - Meknes - Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we set off on a day trip to Chefchaouen. Along the way, we pause for photo opportunities to capture stunning views of Meknes, a vibrant orange grove, the sacred town of Moulay Driss, and the ancient ruins of Volubilis. Crossing the Rif Mountains, we arrive in the striking blue city of Chefchaouen, where you check in to your chosen hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at leisure. Wander through the medina’s narrow streets, admire the distinctive whitewashed and blue-painted buildings, and browse the lively souks filled with local crafts—all framed by the scenic backdrop of the Rif Mountains.
Day 4 - Chefchaouen - Fes
After breakfast, continue exploring Chefchaouen with visits to the grand mosque and the kasbah, both key landmarks that offer insight into the city’s history and architecture. You may choose to enjoy lunch before departing. Then, travel towards Fes, crossing the Rif Mountains via Ouazzane and passing through several charming Rif villages that add interest to the journey. Upon arrival in Fes, check in at your hotel and spend the afternoon familiarising yourself with this vibrant city.
Day 5 - Fes
After breakfast, we spend the day exploring the remarkable city of Fez, renowned for its rich history spanning over twelve centuries. We visit key highlights including Fez el Bali, the interiors of Medersa Bou Inania and Attarine Madrasah, the Quaraouiyine Mosque, Nejjarine Fountain, and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. You will have the opportunity to enjoy an optional lunch within the vibrant Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before spending the remainder of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Fez.
Day 6 - Fes - Marrakech
After breakfast, we leave Fes and travel southwest towards Marrakech. The journey takes you through a variety of landscapes along the foothills of the impressive Atlas Mountains. We pass the mountain town of Ifrane, situated at 1,650 metres above sea level, as well as the Berber villages of Azrou and Khenifra. You may choose to stop for lunch in Beni-Mellal before continuing. We arrive in Marrakech in the evening and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7 - Marrakech
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before a comfortable transfer to Marrakech Airport at a time that suits your flight schedule. This marks the end of your journey.
