This 3–day escape explores South Africa's Aquila Private Game Reserve – a relaxed Western Cape safari with plenty of creature comforts. Settle into your lodge with welcome drinks before an afternoon game drive. Over the next day you’ll mix leisurely downtime with wildlife activities – choose traditional game drives, quad biking or horseback safaris and keep your eyes peeled for roaming plains game and birdlife. Evenings are unhurried – generous buffet dinners followed by stargazing and marshmallow roasting around the boma fire. A final sunrise drive and breakfast round things off, leaving you refreshed and full of safari stories.

Day 1 - Aquila Private Game Reserve
On arrival, you are welcomed with drinks, followed by a buffet lunch from 12:30 pm. At 2 pm, you check into your accommodation, before joining a shared game drive at 4:30 pm.
In the evening, a buffet dinner is served from 7 pm to 10 pm, followed by stargazing and marshmallow roasting around the boma from 9 pm.
Day 2 - Aquila Private Game Reserve
Your morning begins at 7 am with the choice of a traditional game drive, a quad bike safari, or a horseback safari, followed by a buffet breakfast at 8 am. You then have free time between 10 am and 12:30 pm, before a buffet lunch is served.
After further free time in the afternoon, you join another game drive at 4:30 pm. In the evening, a buffet dinner is served from 7 pm to 10 pm, followed once again by stargazing and marshmallow roasting around the boma from 9 pm.
Day 3 - Aquila Private Game Reserve
Your final morning begins with a shared game drive at 7 am, followed by a buffet breakfast at 8 am. You then check out at 10 am, bringing your stay at Aquila to a close.
