On arrival at Malta International Airport, we’ll arrange a private transfer to take you directly to your hotel in Sliema, a northern town located just a 10-minute ferry ride from Valletta, the Maltese capital. Once you’ve checked in, the rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish. Settle in, explore the local area at your own pace, or simply relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. After breakfast, set off on a guided sightseeing tour of Valletta, Malta’s capital. Your walk through the city’s historic streets leads first to the Upper Barrakka Gardens, where you can take in panoramic views across the Grand Harbour and towards the Three Cities – Senglea, Vittoriosa and Kalkara.

You then visit St John’s Co-Cathedral, renowned for its impressive Baroque architecture and rich history. After some free time for lunch, continue to the Mosta Basilica, one of Europe’s largest domed churches, which famously survived a direct bomb hit during the Second World War. Next, explore Ta’ Qali Crafts Village, where you can browse local crafts such as lace, gold, silver and glassware.

Your final stop is the medieval walled city of Mdina, known as the Silent City. Here, you visit St Paul’s Cathedral and stroll through the narrow, shaded lanes. You’ll have some free time in Mdina for a snack or coffee before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Sliema.
