That's why we're proud to partner with Children of the Mekong, a charity dedicated to giving children and young people across the Mekong region the education and opportunities they need to build brighter futures. For us, this partnership is personal. We've built our business on the trust and hospitality of communities across Southeast Asia, and giving back is a responsibility we feel every time we send a traveller there. Together with Children of the Mekong, we hope to help turn the connection our customers feel for this region into something lasting: real change for the families and children who make it so special.

For many children across Southeast Asia the biggest barrier to education is access. In remote rural communities, the nearest school can be hours away, and even when a village has one, classrooms are often overcrowded, under-resourced, or missing entirely for older grades. Children of the Mekong tackles this problem by building boarding houses that give children from the most remote villages a safe, stable home close enough to attend school, as well as supporting them with extra academic and holistic training. Keeping children in school helps to give them a solid foundation for their adulthood with the goal of getting them out of poverty.

Children of the Mekong is a charity committed to making sure underprivileged children across Southeast Asia can access education. From building boarding houses and education centres so that children in rural areas can access an education to raising money for scholarships, Children of the Mekong is committed to providing the children of Southeast Asia access to education giving them a much better chance of escaping poverty.
