Day 1 - Bogota
On arrival at El Dorado International Airport (BOG), we’ll meet you for a private transfer to your hotel. After you check in, the rest of the day is yours – unwind after the flight or head out for a first look at Bogotá, where tradition and modernity share the streets. Overnight in Bogotá.
Day 2 - Bogota
After breakfast at the hotel, the day is yours to discover Bogotá at your own pace – take it easy, soak up the atmosphere or head out for an independent wander. If you’d like a guided introduction, you can join an optional private city tour (not included – minimum two participants). Hotel pick up is at 9:00 am and the walking tour lasts around four hours, taking in the colourful colonial streets of La Candelaria and Plaza de Bolívar, with visits to the Gold Museum and the Botero Museum. Overnight in Bogotá.
Day 3 - Bogota - Cartagena
After breakfast, check out and, at your scheduled time, we’ll provide a private transfer to El Dorado International Airport (BOG) for your flight to Cartagena – flights are not included. On arrival at Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG), we’ll meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours – you can settle in, take a gentle stroll nearby or simply relax and ease into the city’s warm Caribbean atmosphere. Overnight in Cartagena.
Day 4 - Cartagena
After breakfast, we set off on a guided tour of Cartagena de Indias by air–conditioned vehicle. We begin with a panoramic drive along Castillo Grande Bay to admire its Moorish and Republican–style architecture, then continue up to the Convent of La Popa for wide–ranging views over the city. Next, we visit the formidable San Felipe de Barajas Fortress – the greatest example of colonial military engineering in South America – before stopping at Las Bóvedas, a historic site now home to colourful handicraft shops. We end with a guided walk through the Walled City – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – exploring its plazas, cobbled streets and elegant colonial buildings. Overnight in Cartagena.
Day 5 - Cartagena
After breakfast at the hotel, the day is yours to enjoy Cartagena at your own pace – wander its colourful streets, relax at your hotel or spend time on a nearby beach. If you’d like to explore further, you can join the optional Emerald Tour – minimum two participants, hotel pick up at 8:00 am, duration four hours, operating daily except Sunday. You begin at the Emerald Museum to learn about the geology, history and craftsmanship behind these renowned green gemstones, then continue into the historic centre to visit a respected jewellery house and view an exclusive collection, with the option to purchase if you wish. Overnight in Cartagena.
Day 6 - Cartagena
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you from your hotel to Rafael Núñez International Airport at the scheduled time for your departure flight. We hope you’ve enjoyed your time in Cartagena – and that you leave with fond memories of its Caribbean charm.
