Day 1 - San Jose
Welcome to Costa Rica. Upon arrival at the airport, a local representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel in San José. After checking in, you will have free time to relax and settle into your room. You may also choose to explore the city and its surroundings at your own pace. Overnight stay in San José.
Day 2 - San Jose - Arenal - La Fortuna
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel before meeting a local car rental representative in the lobby to collect your vehicle and review the rental details. Then, set off on a self-drive journey to La Fortuna de San Carlos, renowned for the impressive Arenal Volcano. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the afternoon at your leisure—relax or explore the area independently. Overnight in Arenal.
Day 3 - La Fortuna
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at leisure to relax or explore the natural attractions of Arenal at your own pace. This area is renowned for its striking volcano, lush rainforest, and abundant wildlife, offering plenty of opportunities for hiking, wildlife spotting, or simply soaking in the scenery. Overnight in Arenal.
Day 4 - Monteverde
After breakfast at the hotel, you will collect your rental car and set off on a scenic drive to the Monteverde Cloud Forest region. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy some free time to unwind or explore the unique natural surroundings at your own pace. Overnight in Monteverde.
Day 5 - Quepos
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out. At a convenient time, collect your rental car and drive to Manuel Antonio on the Central Pacific Coast. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the afternoon at your leisure—relax on the beach or explore the surrounding area independently. Overnight in Manuel Antonio.
Day 6 - Quepos
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel before spending the day discovering the natural beauty of Manuel Antonio. You can explore the national park’s diverse wildlife, relax on the pristine beaches, or take part in optional activities such as guided nature walks or water sports. Overnight in Manuel Antonio.
Day 7 - San Jose
After a hearty breakfast, you will self-drive back to San José. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and meet the local car rental representative in the lobby to return your vehicle at the agreed time. You then have free time to relax or explore the capital city at your leisure. Overnight in San José.
Day 8 - San Jose
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before a local representative collects you from the lobby at the arranged time. We then provide shared transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport for your departure flight home.
