Start – El Chaltén; End – El Chaltén. Over four days you’ll base yourself in the trekking capital of Patagonia, exploring Los Glaciares National Park at your own pace. Expect to see jagged peaks, turquoise lagoons and sweeping valleys as you hike classic trails to Laguna de los Tres beneath Mount Fitz Roy and the wild Cerro Torre viewpoint. There’s time for sunrise walks, condor spotting and optional boat trips or ice experiences on glaciers. Day 1 - El Chalten
On arrival at the airport, we meet you for a private transfer to your hotel in El Chaltén – Argentina’s trekking capital. Settle in and take in the Patagonian scenery en route while we handle your luggage and ensure a smooth arrival at your accommodation. Overnight in El Chaltén.
Day 2 - El Chalten
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off on the classic trail to Laguna Capri – a superb vantage point for Mount Fitz Roy. The route is 8 kilometres there and back, classed as low difficulty and taking around five hours, with a gentle ascent of 400 metres through the Río de las Vueltas Valley. Along the way we enjoy broad views over Lake Viedma and the surrounding Patagonian landscape.
At the lagoon we pause for sweeping vistas of Cerro Chaltén – Fitz Roy – and a packed lunch before descending to El Chaltén. Overnight in El Chaltén.
Day 3 - El Chalten
After breakfast at the hotel, you have a full day at leisure in El Chaltén – ideal for exploring the mountain town at your own pace, relaxing in its cafés and taking in views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. There are no scheduled activities or transfers today, so you can shape the day exactly as you wish. Overnight in El Chaltén.
Day 4 - El Chalten
After breakfast, check out of your hotel. At the scheduled time, we arrange a private transfer from El Chaltén to Comandante Armando Tola International Airport for your departure flight – we take care of your luggage and ensure a smooth journey to the terminal.
