Visa Procurement

Please be advised that visa requirements are subject to change and that visa procurement is the responsibility of the traveller and not On The Go Tours. Please also ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your planned date of departure from Vietnam.

After booking your holiday, please provide us with your passport details as soon as possible so that we can proceed to book trains and flights tickets on your behalf, if included within your holiday.

Vietnam Visa Requirements

British passport holders are visa exempt and do not require a visa to visit Vietnam for up to 45 days. For longer stays a visa will be required.

Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, USA and South African passport holders require a tourist visa to visit Vietnam. Passport holders of other countries not included here, please check with your local Vietnam embassy.

Applying for a visa

All nationalities are now able to apply for an E-visa online. E-visas are issued for stays of up to 30 days. Use of the E-visa is limited to certain entry/exit points which you must select at the time of application - these include Hanoi - Noi Bai International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City - Tan Son Nhat International Airport and Danang International Airport. Processing time for an E-visa is 3 working days. The cost is currently USD$25 single entry / USD$50 multiple entry. You will receive your E-visa via email as an attached file. Please save the E-visa and show it to immigration on arrival in Vietnam.
