Day 1 - Oslo
Welcome to Oslo. You’ll have free time to unwind and settle in – later this afternoon, please check the information boards in the hotel lobby for details about the start of your tour.
Day 2 - Oslo - Orebro - Stockholm
We begin with a panoramic tour of Norway’s capital with a local guide, where striking contemporary design sits alongside classical architecture, dramatic scenery and expansive parks featuring sculpture – Oslo has been recognised as a European Green Capital. After the tour, you’ll have free time to explore. We then travel into Sweden through landscapes of forests and lakes, pausing in Örebro, a historic town by a lovely lake with a castle and a charming old quarter – you’ll have time for a stroll before we continue to Stockholm, arriving in the evening.
Day 3 - Stockholm
Today we embark on a panoramic tour of Stockholm, a beautiful capital set across 14 interlinked islands. We explore Gamla Stan – the atmospheric old town often called the city between bridges – with landmarks such as the Nobel Prize Museum by Stortorget, the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. When possible, we take in the views from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Afterwards, you’ll have free time – you might visit museums and parks or, if you wish, opt to visit City Hall and the Vasa Museum.
Day 4 - Stockholm - Stockholm - Turku Ferry
You have a free day in Stockholm to follow your own interests. In the evening, we board a modern ferry for the overnight journey to Finland – accommodation is in double en suite cabins.
Day 5 - Stockholm - Turku Ferry - Naantali - Helsinki
As we reach Finland, you may wish to head to the deck at sunrise to admire the landscapes as we pass the Åland Islands. After disembarking, you’ll have time to explore Turku, a city with a strong Swedish influence. We then continue to the neighbouring seaside town of Naantali, known for its charming wooden houses, before travelling on to Helsinki. After lunch, we take a public ferry to the Suomenlinna Islands – an impressive fortress guarding the city’s maritime approach and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have time to explore this unique group of islands, linked by small pedestrian bridges, and enjoy the atmosphere, fortress walls and magnificent Baltic views. Afterwards, we return to Helsinki by boat and transfer to the hotel.
Day 6 - Helsinki - Helsinki - Tallinn Ferry - Tallinn
You have a free morning in Finland’s capital, where you can discover some of this modern seaside city’s most appealing corners. In the afternoon, we board a ferry to Estonia – the crossing takes about two hours and thirty minutes – and you may wish to savour the views of Helsinki and its surrounding islands as we depart. We arrive in Tallinn.
Day 7 - Tallinn
Today we explore Tallinn on a panoramic tour – Estonia’s capital has preserved its medieval heart with remarkable care – taking in its walls, churches, squares and cobbled streets. You’ll have free time in the afternoon.
Day 8 - Tallinn
After breakfast, our journey concludes – we hope you depart with wonderful, lasting memories.
