Uzbekistan tours are partly guided, with local expert guides included for scheduled sightseeing and activities in each destination. There is not usually one tour leader with the group at all times, which means you’ll have more independence and free time built into the itinerary.

These tours are graded easy and suit most travelers who are comfortable with steady walking on uneven streets and steps in historic areas. Days often involve a moderate amount of time on foot, balanced with vehicle or train travel between cities as set out in the itinerary.

Tours often start in Tashkent, and some also finish in Tashkent, although start and end points can vary by trip. Please check the itinerary carefully before reservation flights, particularly if your tour ends in a different city.

Airport transfers are not included, so you’ll need to arrange your own transport on arrival and departure. Allow extra time for traffic in Tashkent, especially late at night, early in the morning or during peak commuting hours.
