Itinerary
Day 1 - Athens - Corinth - Epidaurus - Nauplion - Mycenae - Olympia
We collect you early from your hotel in Athens and set off along the coastal road to the Corinth Canal, where we pause briefly to admire this impressive engineering feat. Continuing on, we visit the Theatre of Epidauros, renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Next, we stop in the charming town of Nauplion for a short photo opportunity before heading to Mycenae to explore the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. From there, we travel through the heart of the Peloponnese, passing the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis, before arriving in Olympia for an overnight stay. This historic town is celebrated as the birthplace of the Olympic Games.
Day 2 - Olympia - Delphi
After breakfast at the hotel, we explore the Archaeological Site of Olympia, including the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum. Later, we drive to Patras, crossing the impressive Rion-Antirion Bridge over the Corinthian Gulf. We pass through the charming town of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) before arriving in Delphi, where you can enjoy dinner at your hotel. Overnight stay is in Delphi.
Day 3 - Delphi - Kalabaka - Kalabaka
After breakfast at the hotel, we visit the Castalia Spring, the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the Archaeological Museum in Delphi. Afterwards, we travel to Kalambaka, a small town nestled at the foot of the striking Meteora rock formations. Dinner and overnight stay are in Kalambaka.
Day 4 - Kalabaka - Athens
After breakfast, we explore Meteora, a remarkable site where ancient monasteries sit atop towering rock formations, offering a unique glimpse into Byzantine art and architecture. Afterwards, we travel back to Athens, passing through Trikala, Lamia and making a brief stop at Thermopylae to view the Leonidas Monument from across the road. We arrive in Athens early evening, allowing you time to relax or explore at your leisure.
