Ranthambore National Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park over the next 2 days. The Park sprawls over an estimated area of 400 sq kms. Steep crags embrace a network of lakes and rivers, and on top of one of these hills is the impressive Ranthambore Fort, built in the 8th century. The national park is peppered with the battlements and spill overs of the Ranthambore Fort - tigers are said to frequent these ruins, too. The tigers can be spotted quite often even during the day. With the strict measures that have been taken for their conservation they seem quite accustomed to human activity and are not disturbed by it. For a relatively small area the park has a rich diversity of fauna and flora.
