Itinerary
Day 1 - Tangier
Arrive into Tangier Airport or harbour and transfer to your accommodation. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free for you to relax or begin to explore this historic port city, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic and European and Moroccan influences blend.
Day 2 - Exploring Tangier
Enjoy a guided tour of Tangier, discovering the city’s rich history and cultural influences. You visit the Petit Socco, a lively historic square surrounded by cafés and traditional buildings, and see the nearby Grand Mosque, an important landmark in the old town. The tour also includes the American Legation, a symbol of the long-standing relationship between Morocco and the United States.
Continue to the Kasbah area, set on a hill overlooking the medina and the sea, where you see the Dar el Makhzen palace, once the residence of the sultan and now a museum complex reflecting Tangier’s past.
Day 3 - Chefchaouen Day Trip
Tangier - Chefchaouen - Tangier. Travel through the Rif Mountains, passing dramatic scenery and small rural villages, to reach the blue-washed town of Chefchaouen. Set against a mountain backdrop, Chefchaouen is known for its distinctive blue-painted buildings and relaxed atmosphere. You have time to explore the medina, with its narrow lanes and local craft shops, and spend time in Plaza Uta el-Hammam, the main square and social heart of the town.
If you wish, you may take a gentle stroll up towards the higher parts of the town for views over the surrounding Rif Mountains and rooftops below. Return to Tangier for the night.
Day 4 - Tangier
Your tour comes to an end after breakfast and hotel check-out. An included transfer takes you to the airport or port, depending on your preference.
